Bug when adding to cart product after import

Hi,
I’m using the last version of the plugin at the time of writing (2.0.10).

If a user adds to the cart a product (let’s say sku “prod1”) in quantity 1 and shares the cart to another user, the second one can effectively import the cart without any problems.

If then the second user (the one who imported the shared cart) then adds back to the cart the same product again, it looks like there’s a problem in some specific cases:

TALKING ABOUT THE ONLY PRODUCT IN THE CART IN ANY SITUATIONS, SKU “PROD1”

Quantity imported through shared cart: 1
Quantity added from the second user after the import: 1
Final quantity in the cart: 2 -> NO PROBLEMS HERE

Quantity imported through shared cart: 2
Quantity added from the second user after the import: 2
Final quantity in the cart: 4 -> NO PROBLEMS HERE

Quantity imported through shared cart: 1
Quantity added from the second user after the import: 2
Final quantity in the cart: PROBLEM HERE. Looks like if the 2 quantities are different, the quantity is not added to the existing cart item and a new cart item is created instead.

We discovered the problem after a customer was able to finalize an order with multiple “duplicated line items”, having the same sku but different quantities.

I hope it’s clear enough. Any thoughts about it?

Hi Guys, I thought this plugin would automatically collect emails when visitors have saved the baskets and emailed the link to themselves. I needed this data to be able to retrieved abandoned baskets and able to email automatically via another plugin. Where are all the email addresses going? Also I have a long list of dates for the carts, it doesn’t put the title names saved next to the cart. Am I missing something, it seems pretty basic for a paid version

Hello Ankit,

I am using your plugin on a client’s site. Back in november 2023 I had implemented a feature to load “Share & save” functionality on ANY page. Not just in cart page. However, now with newer version of your plugin, I am unable to trigger that.

I have managed to load all assets to load on all pages using filter of your plugin. So the assets are loading there, but the recaptcha popup is not built. Can you help or tell me if that’s possible to do using new version?

The share cart email is being sent from [email protected] but I need it to be sent from [email protected]. I have the latter email set using WP Mail SMTP which works for my contact form but not this. Could someone please help?

Love the plugin! I removed the Saved Carts page though and reinstalling the plugin won’t recreate the page. Can I perhaps create the page manually and use a shortcode or is there an other way to recover this page? I can’t find any shortcode in the documentation.

Any suggestions are more than welcome!

Normal product prices are showing up correctly in the share link. However, products like our stair risers that are created with a plugin (YITH product add-ons) are showing up as $0 even though the correct price is displayed in the original cart.

Dear Ankit,

i have version 2.0.5 installed and like it a lot.

However, I am struggling to get the English texts translated into German via WPML string translation.

After a WPML “Theme and plugins localization” i can find the English texts of your plugin in the “WPML string translation” and I can (and did!) add the German translations of the texts.

However, the texts (e.g. “share cart”, “Copy cart to clipboard”, “save cart” etc.) appear still in English on the website.

Any idea what needs to be done here? If you need to access my website you will need to insert the passwort “zps-shop”.

Saved Carts missing

The Saved Carts tab is no longer showing up under My Account page. It is still saving the carts under Saved Carts in the admin, but not on the my account page.

Hello, I tested sharing via email and it worked then I temporarily deactivated the plugin for a day. When I reactivated it, the saved cart links from the email are not working anymore however they still appear under the “Saved Carts” from the menu but are only empty.

Does the links expire? I remember you used to have data persistence time.

saved-carts endpoint issue

Hi, the endpoint saved-carts displays the message “There are no saved carts to display.” with customer role, but if the same user has admin role displays the list of saved carts. I think you have a bug in the “mc” function, but I can’t find the exact problem.

Can you fix the index.js?

It is a brand new installation of WP and If I enable only woocommerce and this plugin, with default theme, I still get the error.

While if I change the server php version from 8.0 to 7.4, it starts working.

Any solution?

What file should I edit to disable the “description” filed in “save cart” option and to add a pre compiled name (for example date-hour) for cart title field?

If I click on submit with no filled fields, I get no error message and the customers often think that the cart has been saved
