Hello, I need the menu to be expanded at the beginning, with all the subcategories shown, can you add the option or put the code for modification.
Can you help me please?
Thanks!
After some update, the plugin did not react to clicks any more. It would properly initialize and collapse the categories, but clicking wouldn’t expand them.
My one-line fix was to replace appendIcon() with the following:
appendIcon : function($el) {
$el.find('a').first().after('
'+this.closedIcon+'
');
$el.find('.wcsca-icon').click(this.deligate);
},

Hi, any chance you could address the collapse topic? Currently when clicking on one item the user moves to that page and then the sidebar shows open and then collapses.

Just wondering if you can give a version bump so we know it works with Woo 4.0+.
Thanks!

Hi there, first of all – the plugin is awesome. Second, if I wanted to have the accordion be closed on load for all products, what css would I need to implement? Thanks so much!

Hello, without a doubt it is an excellent complement and the accordion effect that gives the categories is too useful and functional.
The problem is that after the latest updates of wordpress and woocommerce, the accordion menu is lost and is now fluent and dry, it is still functional but visually it is somewhat rough and neat.
Any update that would solve this would be fine.
Espero alguna respuesta de la comunidad, Saludos
Is there any way to have page load directly into accordion style rather than displaying entire hierarchy and then collapsing?
It seems to be loading the default layout of the category widget prior to implementing the plugin code.
Thanks!
Hi,
How to make the plugin work when my categories are in mobile sidebar (visible on mobile phones)? The categories and sub-categories are all listed but they are not grouped.
Many thanks,
Goran
Sorry for the many topics today!
I was wondering if it’s possible in a future version to add in the plugin settings page loading the accordion closed by default?
Currently it’s closed by default if loading on a regular page (not post or archive) which is great, but on a category or archive page, would be nifty to have the option to show closed by default (ie. you want your sidebar to be a particular height on load).
Thanks either way, great plugin!

I’ve already got Font Awesome loaded from other places in my theme. I’m assuming FA only loads from CDN once everywhere. Is it possible your plugin additionally loads FA from CDN adding to page speed slowness?
Not saying I’m noticing any slow-downs, just wondering if it’s worth noting on your plugin description whether it inherits the FA stylesheet from elsewhere if already loaded on the website…
Thanks!
Greetings,
Just FYI, the link in your plugin settings to Font Awesome has a typo – it reads “https://www.fontawesome.cin/” instead of “.com”
Hope that helps!
Is it possible to show the arrow symbol in 2nd level categories that have categories within? Right now they do slide down and up, but the symbol does not appear and you cant tell if they have categories inside or not. Only the 1st level categories seem to show the symbol.
thank you!

When users navigate to my shop page I would like the side bar to be totally different than the blog sidebar. Is there a way that I could get it to display my subcategories instead? Or perhaps an accordion menu with options? Basically I need a way to display subcategories and to have my blog be separate from the shop.
