hi
Can’t set Start and End date. not allowed me to modify old date setted
thx
]]>Hi team,
Great plugin!
I have used to determine our shop’s vacation from November 1-3, 2024.
Now, we have a custom shipping date field with a date picker (created using the plugin Checkout Field Editor by ThemeHigh).
On this picker, I’d like to prevent people from choosing November 1-3 (our vacation).
This is important if people purchase before the vacation period starts to prevent them from choosing a shipping day which falls into the vacation period.
Is this possible to achieve with you plugin?
Thank you!
]]>The plugin used to work great – I’ve used it for years on our website store. But now it won’t turn off, so we have the vacaction message appearing permanently, a major issue! I have tried deactivating plugin, and uninstalling reinstalling, but no joy. The settings interface works fine but I the changes don’t register/update
]]>Hi, first of all, great plugin, thanks!
I have a shop with a custom add to cart content in woocoomerce loop shop. I have searched in the plugin but I haven’t find any function or validation that returns true/false so I can do an If condition to hide the content if it’s in vacation.
Is there anyway to do it? Thank you very much.
]]>Hello, one year a go I’ve asked for a way to programmatically check the status of the plugin https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/vacation-status/ you gave us an answer “At this time, the plugin does not provide a direct flag or condition that you can use in an if-then-else clause to check the status of the vacation mode“
The problem is that we have configured that when a product is out of stock the text that appears on “add to cart button” are changed to from “Read more” to “Sold” and when the plugin is activated all the products will show “Sold” on the button that is not true and in this case the change of the text has to be deactivated but can’t do it programmatically because can’t check if vacation mode is activated.
It could be possible if no status can be checked programmatically to add in the settings of the plugin to define the text to show in the “add to card button” ?
Thanks in advance for your help
Robert
]]>I cannot get rid of this notice. I have tried clearing cache, changing to a caching plugin, deleting the plugin, but it persists. How can I get rid of this?
]]>I’ve been using this plugin for quite some time and never had an issue. I last used it in October of 2023. Now, when I try to put it in vacation mode, I can’t enter new dates. Moving past last October is not allowed. (It’s grayed out.) The plugin is up to date.
Thanks for any thoughts
Thank you for nice plugin. Works exactly what it says.
Only one issue that Notice top and bottom Margins are getting different on different pages.
E.g. On category page, notice’s top and bottom margin is too huge… so total div looks very big….
while on single product page, notice is like a stripe – looks great… how to fix this issue ?
]]>I am trying to have the store notice appear every week at a certain time and I have the times set up under the weekly tab in settings but the store notice doesn’t show up unless I set in manually.
]]>We were excited to find and use the trial version of this plugin to take a break from our site for about 10 days until January 12, 2024. Now, after returning, we first changed the settings to remove the vacation message (it’s now January 17th, 2024, however, the “Site is down until 1/12/2024” message still appears. Secondly, we then deactivated the Woo Commerce vacation plugin and guess what – my wife on her i-Phone still sees the vacation message – checkout disabled message. So I then took step three and went full monte and deleted the plugin. Guess what – this message still appears in certain places in the web site. If you click the link above and then click on the Elderberry Fortress product, you may have the same problem as one of our customers did today and as my wife just had :(. I will see if it is something simply and withhold my review of the product for a day for us to resolve. Thanks for a prompt reply.
]]>I check “enable vacation mode” plus check “disable purchase” but when I went to test purchase on my site on a different browser, the BUY button is still enable.
Please help!
]]>The mini cart icon shows how many products it contains. But when the popup appears, the content doesn’t load, just waiting. All of the plugins are up to date, I use the Porto theme with woo commerce plugin.
]]>As soon as I enable this extension on my site, I get the following error about mb_strpos being undefined:

According to the answers on this StackOverflow question, mbstring is a nonstandard/nondefault library in PHP, and PHP needs to be custom-built to support it.
We’ve never had a problem with missing PHP functionality with any other extensions or any of our own site code. Shouldn’t this WooCommerce Store Vacation extension work with basic PHP methods and not require custom/special PHP functionality?
]]>The message does not appear on any pages. The buy button is disabled.
]]>Hi, I made a screen brief screen recording of my WooComm shop after installing and activating this vacation plugin (which a rep at WooCommerce suggested to me), but the plugin message and checkout deactivation are not displaying.
Here’s a brief 90-sec video I made within my Chrome browser:
Please let me know how I can properly enable this, thank you!
]]>As the title points out, the vacation mode is not working fully unless a user is logged in.
When NOT logged in, the vacation message only appears on the “Shop” page. https://www.gro-green.com/shop/
If you click on an item, you will see that the message does NOT appear on a product page, and the Add to Cart button is visible.
If you then try to “add to cart” you’ll finally see the vacation message along with this error: “Sorry, this product cannot be purchased.”
If you’re logged in, then the plugin works fine on all pages… vacation message shows up; add to cart button is disabled. Customers to our store do NOT necessarily have accounts until they actually try to buy a product, so they wouldn’t be logged in, and therefore would not see the vacation message until they’ve already tried to Add to Cart. At that point, they’ll be stopped.
How can this be fixed?
]]>Hello, i cant set the start time, the datepicker only shows me the date until 2022
]]>Hello,
Is there a way to programmatically check the status of the plugin?
Thanks in advance

]]>With the plugin installed, but Enable Vacation Mode unchecked and Disable Purchase unchecked I notice that the Mini-Cart isn’t working. It doesn’t show the number of items and when I click it, it is empty. When I visit the shopping cart I see the items I choose. I have to deactivate Woo Vacation to get the Mini-Cart working again. What can I do to fix this?
]]>I have reviewed this plugin and gave it 5 stars but the NAG message on plugins page to review the plug in has NOT GONE AWAY!!

]]>When the plugin and the vacation mode are enabled, Google Chrome and even other browsers instantly show a phishing warning.
This is probably a false-positive, but the vacation mode can not be used of course, when a phishing warning is shown for the whole site.
]]>Hi, are there any custom user role capabilities for this plugin? I’d like “Store Owners” to be able to edit the store vacation settings. Currently they can view the settings but can’t save any changes.
Store Owners have the “manage_woocommerce” capability and all other shop related capabilities but we don’t want to give them the “manage_options” capability. However, “manage_options” seems to be required to save changes.
Do you have any advice for fixing this?
Thanks, Steph
]]>Can you create a function to just display the notice, but don’t close the store publically. I want to place a notice that we are low in stock but want to still be able to make sales on the stock we do have left, but don’t want to ‘close store publically’.
]]>Hi,
please I would like to understand if there is an API or a URL to call to get the status of the vacation mode.
I have a client mobile APP that I need to integrate and put on vacation mode as well.
thanks
Hi,
I’ve paid for the PRO version of the plugin, because I created the website on a staging server and activated the plugin, when we moved over to live domain the plugin says already activated.
Can someone email me to get the licence count reset so I can activate on main website?
Thanks
Curt
Hello !
We are the 7th, I want my shop to open at 00:00 on the 8th. So I wanted to mark the 7th (today) as the end date, but the date picker doesn’t allow that, although it is a valid use case.
Could you change that in the future ?
Thank you for this great product !
]]>I have put in text in the store notice, it displays correctly on the English language version of the website but the German version is displaying old text from a previous time we added months ago.
So basically it’s not updating to the text in German.
]]>Is there a real reason timestamp date is forced on UTC?
You should at least advertise that on the options page.
Anyone would suppose that the timezone is localized.
]]>My store is built with Elementor, Single Product page also is built with elementor.
Using Show Hooks plugin looks like all Woocommerce hooks are in place around the add to cart button.
But this plugin does nothing:
– add to cart button is visible,
– add to cart functionality works,
– cart and checkout pages are fully working,
– no notice added on website.
It would be very nice to add the following variables so they can be used inside the message:
{StartDate}
{EndDate}
{EndDateNext}
{EndDateNextBiz}
Example message:
Our store will be closed from {StartDate} thru {EndDate}.
Any orders placed during this period will be shipped when we reopen on {EndDateNext}. Thank you for your understanding
How it would appear:
Our store will be closed Thursday, Sept 1st thru Monday, Sept 5th.
Any orders placed during this period will be shipped when we reopen on Tuesday Sept 6th. Thank you for your understanding
