I’m using the free version, and it works best for me.
Thank you, developers. Great job.

I easily set this up to leave my store browsable, but not allow purchases while I was not available to fulfill orders. You can specify the color of text and background for the annoucement block, and it looked great. Although I specified an auto end date, I stopped the “vacation” earlier than planned, so I manually disabled the vacation mode, so I can attest to that functionality.

fait le boulot qu’on lui demande, informer sur toutes les pages relatives à la boutique qu’on est en vacances, permet de choisir de suspendre ou non les commandes.

I use it to display timed notifications on the website and occasionally close sales. It’s easy to use and works as expected.

Needed a way to periodically close Woocommerce shops on a multisite system, and this does the trick wonderfully.

I’ve used this extension a couple of times over the past years for our annual breaks. The last 3 times I have had to manually go in and open my website after we have returned to work from our break. I cannot trust it to do as I tell it to do. It starts ok, but when I have come back from holidays, I have had customers contacting me to ask me why my website is still closed. Last week, after a couple weeks away, I had to manually open it, and then I had to install the back end of my website onto my mobile phone to open the Mobile App as that was not open even though my PC’s website was open. That is just my experience, not sure why, nor does my webmaster.

Works as advertised, and pretty easy to configure, enable, and disable as needed.

Product works fine. Nothing spectacular. But then it won’t stop harassing you with pop up alerts on your WP dashboard begging for a 5 star review. 4 for functionality. Zero for class.

Does what it says, with a pretty graceful implementation. Easy to set up and enable/disable.

This plugin works great – does exactly what is expected from the description. More importantly, it solves the awkward problem of taking time away from an online shop!
Some perspective: some items in the shop are “pack & ship”, but others are “print on demand” (and shipped from the manufacturer). This plugin allows putting the “pack & ship” items on hold, while the rest continue to be available for sale – and gives the option to set a timer for your return to ‘full sale’.

Great for a situation when you want your store to be online but you don’t want visitors to be able to buy.
So why would you want this facility?
It came into play for me when the shop owner was going to be out of the country for a week and wouldn’t be able to process orders received.
Whilst I have used the free version and have no real reason to complain, the only extra feature I would have like to have seen was the ability to set an actual time of day for closure and re-opening. One other thing that caught me out was the store notice short-code I’d added to the front page using the block-editor as detailed in the plugin instructions remained in place after the shop re-opened. So the user has to remove that manually.
Anyway, not a criticism, just a ‘be aware’ point. It’s a great plugin for the job and if you want to have some products still available to buy when the shop is closed then the full version is your friend.
