]]>Ive got the Fastblog theme up and running, but I have discovered a problem with the wootumblog plugin.
There is no way to name your image when you choose the “Image” tumblog option. It will post the image, but the title of the image will be “Image”, even if you use the “image name” custom field. If you don’t select any of the tumblog options and publish it as a generic post, the image name field works.
The only way I’ve found to get around this is to select the Image tumblog option, but place the image in the main body like a standard media file, and use the more tag to create an excerpt. If I use an excerpt in my post, then it pushes the image off the archives page and only posts the excerpt, whereas the tumblog plugin keeps the image on the archives page and allows me to post the excerpt below the image.
I’ve tried using all the auto excerpt plugins available, but they don’t work with wootumblog, they seem to count the html code as text and cut it part way through, only displaying busted code.
Here is an example of what I mean. Test 1 shows the post with no tumblog option selected, post 2 is using the image choice (yet is formated identical to post 1), and post 3 is my ugly workaround. My problem with the workaround is that the excerpt has to be the first part of my post instead of a summary as it should be.
Does anybody know how to alter the code for this plugin so that the image tumblog draws the image name from the proper custom field. It would be even better if Woothemes fixed it so you could name the image as you upload it, or get the plugin to draw from the media library where you can load all you stuff and give it the proper metadata.

]]>The plugin does not work with WordPress 3.6. After installing the plugin, the ‘Tumblogs’ option does not appear in the lefthandside menu (only ‘Tumblog options’ is shown). Furthermore, the custom categories for the different types of Tumblog posts are not created upon activation of the plugin.

None of the above would put the URL into link
I am sure much of this is already in other bookmarklets it would just need to be done to work with this plugin.
]]>All javascript has stopped working in the admin area after installing this plugin. I guess it has to do with the js libraries the plugin uses which might be incompatible with the ones in 3.5.1. Any idea how I can update those? Or would you recommend I downgrade my installation to 3.3 ?

I’m using WooThemes’ Beveled theme on a WP network site and have no options for settings. The plugin activates and add icons to my theme but that’s it. There are no menu items nor was there a notice on activation to access settings. I’ve tried enabling the WooTumblog plugin only for my subsite as well as for the network and see no difference. All I get are icons for the post format (image, video, etc.) The icon links go to listing of all the post formats of that type. The post title links to the post so that works. If there is text in the post editor main area, that shows on the post but not when I click to see the image or video or whatever it is I have set up (as expected). So, to recap, the content set in the custom fields do not show up and there are no settings for this plugin in my WordPress admin area. What am I missing here?

I’ve had this issue for a while and am getting a bit frustrated trying to figure it out.
It seems that the image field used for the wootumblog plugin when posting a post is different than that of a standard post. The problem is that any time I try to set up an automatic “post to facebook” plugin, it can never find the image, and when the post is made on facebook, it either uses the default wordpress image, or the site’s banner image. I cannot get any auto-post to facebook to use the actual image in the post.
Some plugins ask for a specific meta tag. Right now, I’m attempting to use the “Social Networks Auto Poster” plugin, which has a field for an “alternative featured image location.” It asks for a custom field name or custom field prefix, but I have no idea where to find those.
Can anyone here help? I just want my site to auto-post the posts I make to my facebook page.

I’ve been trying to use ifttt.com, but can only get the links to post in the body of a post, when what I really want is for the links to be in the title like they are when I post from my dashboard.

]]>I have Woo-Tumblog Plugin installed (independently hosted blog). Yesterday, I registered on WordPress so I could ask a question in the forum. Upon doing so, notifications are now appearing in my dashboard menu in the upper right corner. Unfortunately, now when i am typing a post in the Tumblog, certain letters are activating the notifications via keyboard shortcuts. This is highly annoying. My typing is interrupted, the shortcut letter doesn’t type in the tumblog box, and the notifications screen pops out. Ugh!! Is there any way to turn off notifications or shortcuts ??

I installed this plugin, looked at the configuration instructions and decided they were beyond my level, then uninstalled the plugin without making any changes anywhere. However, the titles of my posts have suddenly stopped showing up in every view except when viewing posts individually. I changed nothing else around the time it happened except to install and then uninstall this plugin.
Does anyone know what could have happened here? My theme is Esplanade.

]]>Hi there, I just installed this plugin, thinking I could apply it to future posts that I could isolate in one category (aka have only one page of my website have a tumblr style photo blog). However, It changed all my preexisting blogs to this format. Realizing thats not what I wanted I uninstalled it and then “deleted” it. However my blog remains changed. I am using Mystique 3.0 and usually I can choose if I want a full post of excerpt with title and photo displayed on my homepage. Now it is just in a tumblr style: without title or picture but lists full posts with the time I published it. Please help me remove this and return my blog to the way it was before I installed this plugin. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I was unable to reverse the changes id made because that error prevented me from accessing any part of wordpress, including my dashboard. I had to contact my hosting provider and have them use a backup from several days earlier to recover my site.
