those problem for shop owners in Austria was bespoken some times here:
If you use the dropdown for the countries the entry ?sterreich is always at the end of the list and I could not found any solution to group the countries somehow, that the most important are on the top (i.e. ?sterreich, Deutschland first and then the rest)
But what I have found now is a new css display property named flex
w3schools…flex
I tried to use it in my custom.css and it worked somehow to at least reverse the listing so ?sterreich comes first and Zypern next ?? (I’ll ship to EU-Countries only).
But the list items are not with each other vertically (untereinander) from top to down, they are side by side (horizontally, nebeneinander) now.
May someone has better knowledge in css to get them displayed nicer?
Or does anyone has a hack (filter, hook…) to achieve a grouping like mentioned above?

Searched like stupid to find out why in my account (Mein Konto) > order details (Bestelldetails) there is a messup of german and english strings.
“Order #123 was placed on 10. M?rz 2015 and is currently Storniert.”
It’s caused by /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/myaccount/view-order.php line 20 column 49 has a “#”

I need to change some texts in my german install which has a theme called replete from kriesi.
due it’s lousy implementation of the checkout page I also added the plugin WooCommerce Germanized to get a better representation of the checkout fileds.
I’ve been reading through all of the woocommerce-de related docs, checked woothemes docs for translation etc etc.
Since codestyling-localization does not work at all with woocommerce I installed poedit locally and chenged there some of the texts and tried to upload them to
wp-content/languages or
/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/languages/
/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/i18n/languages/
/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/i18n/languages/informal
filename is always woocommerce-de_DE.mo and …po
what I’m doing wrong to get the *%§$* working?

Can you tell me how to translate this message?

Wenn ich unter Settings/General auf Englisch bin und unter WooCoommerce/Settings/German Translations/ auf ‘Only Frontend’, dann ist das Frontend dennoch auf Englisch. Nur wenn ich Settings/General auf Deutsch habe, ist auch der Shop auf Deutsch.
Kann das irgendwie anders ereicht werden?

Seit der Aktualisierung auf WP 4.1 und die aktuelle WC-DE-Version besteht das Problem, dass nach dem Klick auf ?Bezahlen“ nicht die ?Danke“-Seite erscheint, sondern schlicht zurück auf den leeren Warenkorb geleitet wird.
Die bestehenden Seiten ?Warenkorb“ und ?Kasse“ haben die richtigen Shortcodes und sind in WC auch richtig zugeordnet. Permalinks sind auch aktuell.
Wo k?nnte der Fehler liegen?

I have created a child theme but I am not sure if it plays any role that I also use Woocommerce_German? Do I still need to change the files located in Woocommerce/templates/emails? Or would I need to look in Woocommerce_German files?

]]>Hello – I’ve tried for days to get this to work and I’m probably missing something simple. Would appreciate some help.
I’ve chosen the informal (DU) version in woo commerce and that works; however, emails sent to customers and other random strings used during checkout (for example paypal description) are in english. I’ve tried disabling plugins one by one and that’s not making a difference.
I’m using WPML so is that causing a conflict? There are double entries in WMPL. Please let me know if I should be asking them about this problem instead.

after installing the WooCommerce german ( I am german ) I could not start work, because the WooCommerce icons did not show up on the Dashboard.
I tried the same in another installation of WordPress, with the same result.
The plugin is installed sucessfully and activated on the “installed plugins” page. But the WooCommerce icons are missing on the Dashboard menue.
Who can help ?

Derzeit zeigt er mir beim Kauf immer alle hinterlegten Dateien als Download an was beim Verkauf von Lizenzen z.b. schlecht ist.
Ab und zu fehlen Bestellnummern z.B. ind dieser Art 500, 501, 510, 520, 521, 522, 533 usv.
Bestellungen sind aber nicht eingegangen laut übersicht.
Kennt jemand diesen Fehler?

Ich habe mein WordPress + Woocommerce unter Strato auf einem Unterverzeichnis installiert. Nun m?chte ich die Seite über die Haupt-Domain laufen lassen.
Zwei Wege habe ich probiert:
1. Einfache interne Umleitung über Strato plus ?nderungen in der .htaccess

damit SEO-technisch nichts schief geht und die Seite nur mit www. erreichbar ist.
Das Ergebnis: Ich kann mich aufgrund der .htaccess-Umleitung nicht mehr unter /wp-admin/ einloggen (Jedenfalls komm ich so nicht mehr an meine Produkte ran)
2. Strato-Umleitung wieder zurück genommen und anschlie?end .htaccess und index.php ins Haupverzeichnis kopiert (letzteres natürlich mit Anpassung des Pfades auf das Unterverzeichnis in Zeile 17)
Das Ergebnis: Es kommt zum endlosen Laden des Checkouts (Kasse) und somit kann keine Bestellung mehr abgewickelt werden…!
Was kann ich tun? Hilfe!

Jetzt bekomme ich es aber nicht hin, dass in den Seiten Women oder MEN auch nur die Produkte drinne sind, die ich diesen Kategorien zugeordnet habe. Denn da ist im moment nicht drinne. Ich bekomme alles nur angezeigt wenn ich auf Shop klicke, dann stehen auf der Seite alle meine Kategorien. Was mache ich falsch?

Couple of interesting things happening – none of my WooCommerce emails are being translated.. all elements are being displayed in English, though the site language is set to German and Front end displays (mostly) in German.
On the checkout page, table headers for order review aren’t translating (product, total, cart totals, sub total, shipping & handling, order total). Likewise ‘Payment Options’ header and the ‘Place Order’ button also aren’t translating.
Finally, the default opening sentence on the My Account page (Hello, [username]…) is also not translating. Other than that, the rest of my front-end IS translating.
Perhaps a clash with my custom theme, but how to address/solve it? Unfortunately hard-coding the values/translations isn’t possible because the templates will be used by an English version of the store (multisite network, not WPML).

i have made there my tweaks with po-edit (.mo generation was set to automatically) and uploaded all ..,for the first directly into the core plugin folder
but i cannot not see any changes…the confirmation email has still the default string.
What might be the error?
my other question would be …where do i have to place alternative files

and

I have a website in englisg and i am translation it in germen via “transposh” but this plugin doesn’t translate the woo commerce checkout, cart etc.

since a long time I am struggeling after every update of woocommerce at this point and I now want to make it the right way and update save. I put in your language file in the folder structure under the wordpress language directory and when testing with “In den Warenkorb” Button it is working fine, but when trying to change “Optionen ausw?hlen” Button I even couldn′t find this wording in the .po file. There it ist “Optionen ansehen” but it seems that this it not displayed?

Und ich komme nicht an die übersetzungsdatei ′ran.
Klar gibt′s auch andere Wege, aber das kann ich keinem Kunden zutrauen…
