Hello there,
I have just taken over looking after a website and I am trying to find out which plugins are purchased and which are free. Is the plugin Extra Product Sorting Options for WooCommerce a free plugin or can you buy the plugin? The website is using version 2.10.0 which was last updated Last Updated: One year ago.
Kind Regards
Lorraine
]]>Hi – is there any plan for a release that is HPOS-compatible?
I love plugins like this, that do one thing and do it well, and have appreciated how this plugin makes it easy to configure the native sorting dropdown.
]]>Hello, I sell to Central America and have a site translator and hard translations in Spanish on my website. I was under the impression that the plugin was available in Spanish and even saw a good review from someone speaking Spanish but I cannot figure out how to display your sorting options in another language. I guess it just meant the instructions to download were available in Spanish?
I use TranslatePress – Multilingual as my frontpage translation editor.
The installation of your plugin seemed to go fine. The link I included in this email shows a product page where the sorting box is shown. There you can see my default sorting options are translated but the ones I added with your plugin are not.
Thanks so much for any insight you can provide. -R
]]>hello team,
i have recently installed your plugin hoping to sort my product catalog based on stock availability. i followed steps as below :
after following above steps, still i am not able to use that feature ? please do let me know if missed something.
thank you
]]>Happy New Year to you Sir,
Normally, if we add the Woo Commerce [Product] Shortcode on any Page, it loads the website’s Products on the Page.
And the Page always has a Sorting Dropdown Option.
I mean this– https://prnt.sc/6a7L6epa1Lm7
Now, Elementor and other Page Builders have provided the opportunity for us to create our own Custom Woo Commerce Product Loop.
Then we can insert these Custom Woo Commerce Product Loop into any Page or Post.
The challenge is that this custom Woo Commerce Product Loop that we create with Elementor Loop Builder and other Page Builders, don’t have the Dropdown Sorting Option.
For example, this is a Product Loop I created, using Elementor loop Builder — https://prnt.sc/OsX4pKRTdtcv
It lacks the Dropdown Sorting Option because Elementor doesn’t have it.
Which Shortcode can I use to add the Woo Commerce Dropdown Sorting Option to my Custom Product Page– so that I can then use your plugin to add the additional Sorting Options?
Needing to hear from you soon.
Regards.
]]>Hello, how can I have one or more products as “sticky” showing up first in the products list even while keeping an alphabetical sorted order please?
Thanks!
]]>Hello, one question. Where to translate the New Default Sorting Label string to one other language. We have WPML but it cannot be found even with string search when page rendering option. We need to have that translated to two different language. Thanks in advance. Regards.
]]>Thank you so much in advance!
Everything is setup as per instructions. The search box/div is not displaying on the products page. The only thing I can think of is that I need to add it as separate widget or it is because it is currently displaying products ‘randomly’.
Any ideas?
Hello and thank you for your great efforts with this plugin! I believe your FAQ is outdated, specifically with respect to the entry for “Why doesn’t sorting by availability work?” The path to the setting is WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory. I also don’t understand what is meant by, “Set the available stock for?all?variations”.
Anyway, I’m trying to sort by Available Stock and it’s not working.
]]>Hi – is it possible to sort by a custom field?ie
Upmcoming date order
https://www.lastminutetheatretickets.com/venues/the-alexandra-birmingham/
Alphabetic sorting of search results does not work. The products are shown in some default order. ??
Sorting by price ascending/descending works fine!
Is it known problem? Any ideas?
]]>Hi, I’ve added a new name for the default option and it’s not updated it.
I’ve unticked ‘Sort by popularity’, but it’s still there.
What do I need to do to fix this?
]]>Sort by Availability is my default option as I want to display products that are out of stock too. Unfortunately, with DIVI theme and shop module on product category pages.
It seems that on shop page works well
]]>Hi Guys, Will this plugin be updated for HPOS compatability.
]]>Hello Team,
We have checked your plugins, but the sort by discount options was not there. Is it any problem with this plugin. Pls share any code related this.
Thank you so much for this your support.

]]>Thanks for you plugin, it really is very helpful!
I have one question/suggestion: I would like to have my products sorted either by newest or current deals. When using the second option, the deals are sorted by highest price first. Is it somehow possible to also let the deals be sorted by newest deals first?
Thanks a lot!
]]>Hi SV, is this app being sunsetted? We haven’t seen an update in over 8 months and we’re concerned for our clients that are using this app.
Thanks.
]]>Hi, we need to be able to sort returns to show solid block colours first as opposed to a user choosing, for instance, ‘green’ and then seeing no actual solid green fabrics until p2, would this plugin give us this facility?
any help much appreciated
Hello,
In the option ‘Show sales first’, it only shows the specific products which are on sale, and not the remaining products.
It only works on the Shop page (the main page with all the products) https://kirtsis.gr/shop/
However, if you click in any category, the problem appears.
Please check these two categories, which have many products, and also sale products, in order to see the problem:
https://kirtsis.gr/product-category/plakakia/
(1037 products, only shows 14 products)
https://kirtsis.gr/product-category/mpanio/
(4590 products, only shows 10 products)
Many thanks for your help.
]]>is there any way of getting this into an elementor widget or shortcode please?
]]>Hey there,
I was going to test out the upcoming “High-Performance Order Storage” for WooCommerce and Extra Product Sorting Options for WooCommerce was giving out combability issues. Do you have any plans to update the plugin to support HPOS in the future?
More information is available:
https://woocommerce.com/document/high-performance-order-storage/
https://developer.woocommerce.com/2022/09/14/high-performance-order-storage-progress-report/
When using the plugin and setting the “Show sale items first” as the default in my Woo Commerce store it will only show the sale items in my store. It won’t display the non-sale items after the sale items. Is this the intent?
]]>We have installed the latest version and configured it, but nothing is displaying in the shop…
]]>Beautiful day to you Sir,
My Products need to be sorted as Art1, Art2, Art3 and so on, in numerical order.
How can I use your plugin to be able to sort it that way for me?
Needing to hear from you soon.

I’m building a site in Swedish, and we have more letters after Z – ?. ? and ?.
Is it possible in any way to include these letters in the alphabetic ordering? So that you can chose to order after A to ? or ? to A?

]]>If i set on sale first as a default sorting option, it display just the sales product and not the normal ones. There is a fix?
]]>On our product pages, under the associated courses, we have one course, “Tier 1 – C3 – Introduction to Pre-Algebra”, that is showing up out of order because it was created first. Will this plugin sort the associated courses in alphabetical order as well, or only sort products on the shop page?
]]>Hello! Can you add sorting by the size of the discount on the product. This is very, very lacking.
