The description of this plugin suggests there’s a similar setting built into the Composite Products plugin, which would allow someone to delete this plugin and just depend on that one. I’m unable to find the setting the plugin description describes under Product Data -> Advanced. Did this change at some point?

Instead of showing the thumbnails of the bundled products, it shows the full size image. How do I set it to show the thumbnail size?

This plugin is nice, I have installed it on my site in case of product bundles. But using them globally is not ever the best way to show bundled products. Do you plan to code a setting on per product basis?

And if I use stacked layout in conjunction with composite products, there is layout option to display components in columns. That is what I wish for product bundles too. If there are heavy bundled items in a bundle, a columns layout makes sense.

Is it possible to change the number of columns that is given for thumbnails? I would like 5 columns across to reduce the amount customers would have to scroll up and down the page. Is this possible?

I think the plugin isn’t updated with the recent WooCommerce changes where Product -> Display is basically moved into the Customizer. Please, elaborate

Thank you for this plugin. I’m using it for a composite product. It appears to be working well except for one thing: The thumbnail images of the products in the components are not loading initially. If you use the pagination, they will load, including when you go back to past pages. The problem is the thumbnails do not load when the product page first loads.

Do you have any insight into how I can fix this?

I’m using WooCommerce’s Canvas theme, and I am having one heck of a time modifying the CSS for this plug-in.

The problem isn’t exactly that plug-in doesn’t work. The plug-in works exactly as described on the side of the tin.

However, it looks like WooCommerce’s Canvas Theme is one of those themes that this plug-in warns you about.

To make the composite stacked layout work correctly, I had to modify the CSS for this plug-in directly. Specifically these lines in wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-composite-products/assets/css/wc-composite-single.css:

.component .composited_product_images img {
width: 100%;

.component .details {
float: right;
padding-left: 2px;
width: 70%;
}

*(YMMV)*

Creating a child theme did not work. Embedding the css inside my admin area in the custom css did not work. Even using custom.css in the main canvas theme did not work. Each time I would add the overwrite code, the theme would overwrite my changes with the defaults from the plug-ins style.

So this is one of those plug-ins I cannot auto-update because my changes will not carry over should the plug-ins css file change.

Does anyone have any better locations on where I can add my css changes, or can the plug-in look for a custom.css file that won’t be overwritten on plug-in updates?

This plugin does not seem to work. Selected the products to stack in the settings and it is still the same. Great idea but it does not seem to work. using woocommerce 2.6.14. See below.

The possibility to choose, which product type should have this layout works fine.
But in the end, it does not change anything at all in the frontend.

I am using WooCommerce WooCommerce – Gravity Forms Product Add-Ons and Gravity forms together with a single product layout. I need to put this form just to one single product and here I really need to put this form under the product picture.

But the other single products does not need this.

Is it possible to apply Stacked Product Layout just to some of single products. Maybe you see other way I could solve this?
