We have?Woocomerce setup along with the plugin Gift Wrapper for Woocomerce, however when I adding the gift wrap it means that you can’t pay with Apple Pay.

Is there any way to fix this so you can pay with Apple Pay when adding gift wrap.

Hi, I installed the plugin 2 days ago to test and understand whether to switch to the premium version. Everything seems ok, except that at check out if the gift wrap option is selected, the loading continues endlessly and does not add the box, the only way to get it added (and it doesn’t always work) is to manually reload the page . Has anyone had similar problems? Could it be due to the site speedup plugin?

I tried adding a gift wrap message but I can’t close the popup after inputting a message. In the console I get this message: Gift Wrapper error – no input!

I tested this with the troubleshooting plugin and disabling all plugin except Woocommerce en Gift Wrapper, but it’s still not working.

Since upgrading to 6.0.5, we are experiencing some issues on the front end without the 6.0 compatibility option enabled. The modal buttons are missing text and are instead just empty. I have switched to the 2023 theme for testing and the issues persist.

Since I switched to php 8 I’m getting this error constantly in the error log:

Thanks for the Plugin, it looks like it has stopped functioning the way it used to.

Previously it allowed users to add gift wrapping to the order, but it has now stopped and when a user tries, a message box appears and says “Please add a gift wrap product to the order”

The string “We offer the following gift wrap options:” cannot be translated… (using Loco Translate here)

Since problably is just a simple review at the code, I didn′t think it’s necessary to put WP/WC version, etc, right?

I just updated the plugin to the latest version.

We have been using gift wrapper for sometime with no issues. We have made minor modifications to the template to change the prompts and on v5.2.7 moving the cancel button to the footer (now standard on v6).

We created appropriate directories in our theme and modified modal.php to change the prompts. When selecting the add gift option modal opens and products displayed OK. You can select a product and add a message. When you click add to order you get the circle showing ‘stuff’ is happening but the cart is not refreshed automatically. If I refresh the page manually the product has been added to the cart and the message is displayed.

We have made customisations to cart and checkout but these are related to look and feel rather than custom code.

I’m guessing this maybe a theme issue but not certain as other than not refreshing the cart automatically everything seems to work. I have currently set the v5 compatibility so everything is working for now but would like to try and resolve this so we can use v6.

We just noticed that in our cart, when we try to add our Gift Wrapp, it-s showing the 9 most recent products instead of the GiftWrapping products under category “Embrulho”.
These 9 products are not in the “Embrulho” category.

I’ve disable the plugin for now, but we please see why is this happening?

I have two websites. https://copenhagensmykker.dk/ and https://arkandi.de/

The first one is the plugin working and adding the giftwrap on the product page to cart. and i can see the giftwrap as a product attribute.

On Arkandi.de i cannot get it to add giftwrap as a product attribute at the product pages.

I also noticed a small differene between the plugins, layout and options at my two sites.

So i can see copenhagensmykker have the Version 4.3.3 from Little Package and arkandi have Version 5.2.11 By Sagehen Studio

A bit confusing since i have no notice on updating on copenhagensmykker from little package to sagehen studio. and since it dosent work on my new site i dont want to upload the new plugin i can download.

I have the gift wrapper plus edition on both sides.

Do you have any solutions to my problems?

I’d like to hide the price in the packing slip but show it on the gift wrap option popup. If I select “Hide Price?” = Yes in the settings the price is hidden on the popup and the packing list. Is there any way to hide the price just on the packing list?

Just wanted to report that I had to uninstall your plugin as it was causing issues with the Stripe payment at checkout on mobile. It stopped the js from firing and so you couldn’t enter in card details. Very important for an ecommerce site that!

The site’s hosted on Siteground, running Neve Pro theme. I can throw a woocommerce status thing up here if that helps.

Thanks for such a wonderful plugin.
I installed the product today hoping to get it working fast, however, no matter what options I choose on the plugin setup, I can’t get it to show my gift wrap product (I followed the greengeeks guide). I choose all gift wrap prompts possible but none of them make the product appear. Pop-up opens and instructs the user to add the message, but then it doesn’t show the product to the user, nor does it add to the cart value.

Just downloaded a fresh copy of this plugin and after activating it I get this

Hi,

First off, thank you for creating such a great plugin!
I’m a free plugin user still, but definately interested in purchasing the pro version, if the added granular control allows for better positioning.

Right now, we have several options. In our case, we have positioned the button at the top of the cart page. However, we would like to see it placed just below the list of cart items, aligned left to the (sub)totals. Is that something we can achieve with the pro version?
Also: is there more control available on the thumbnail sizing and alignment (margins, paddings, etc)?

A client of mine installed this plug-in and set up up. It was all working just amazing. Now a few weeks ago (3/4 week i guess) the plugin stopped showing the wrapper option.

So first thing i did was deactivate all the plugins and try it again with only woocommerce and gift wrapper activated. Nothing.

I’ve just updated the latest version of wordpress and the giftwrapper plug-in. Also did i update the PHP version to 8.1

So after the updates i made the plug-in delete all its option. Delete it and reinstalled it.

But again, no option to wrap their lovely gifts.

Do you have any idea whats going on?

The activated theme is divi, PHP version 8.1 everything updated.

i have configured XML:

Then in String translation i search text, String in “giftwrap_details” is translated, but translated text doesnt appear in frontend.
