Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to extend the functionality of this plugin to add the “Subscribe to our Newsletter” checkbox on the Woocommerce registration form?
]]>Is there a way or condition to tag users who did not sign up for the newsletter? I need a way to identify them in Mailchimp. It’s hard because everyone is currently tagged as subscribed regardless if the checkbox was checked.
How it works currently:
Checkbox not checked: Users are tagged as subscribed.
Checkbox is checked: Users are tagged as subscribed and added to mailing lists.
What I need is:
Checkbox not checked: Users are tagged as unsubscribed or a custom field is set.
Thank you!

]]>Hello,
According to Wordfence, this plugin seems to be abandoned.
If I look at the last update this plugin has received it was over 1 year ago.
Checking the support replies, the last time a support reply was given was 1yr and 4 months ago with 2 threads being left ignored.
So I guess it is safe to assume that this plugin has been abandoned.
]]>Hello,
We’re looking for a new solution to integrate MailChimp and WooCommerce and wonder if this plugin will have the same issues https://woocommerce.com/products/mailchimp-for-woocommerce/ or not.
We currently use https://woocommerce.com/products/mailchimp-for-woocommerce/ to integrate MailChimp with WooCommerce.
However, we discovered that MailChimp has a caching conflict with WP Engine (our web host). The issue rears it’s ugly face when Customers are going to make a purchase, and they see details of other customers pre-filled on the checkout page.
The post by @wi11 in this thread (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/customers-seeing-other-customers-details-in-checkout/) noted that it has to do with the Varnish cache used by WPEngine and the MailChimp plugin. MailChimp was using the WooCommerce session to store tracking information when a product page was viewed, and Varnish was caching the cookie and sending it back to other visitors.
We discussed the issue with MailChimp and WooCommerce, and they responded with…
“While further looking into this request for you,?Mailchimp?would be limited on the support provided to fix this occurrence. The two integrations you are using are incompatible with WP Engine and how they cache things with WooCommerce, and it conflicts with how?Mailchimp?for WooCommerce cache things in WooCommerce.”
We’re looking for a new solution to integrate MailChimp and WooCommerce and wonder if this plugin would have the same conflict or if it would work.
We’re hoping to avoid switching hosts or paying for Zapier, but know those are options if this plugin doesn’t work.
Please let me know!
Thanks,
Simon

]]>Hi,
I saw an old thread with this issue, but no resolution. We are experiencing this issue now with some regularity- receiving emails with this message: “SS_WC_MailChimp_Handler::maybe_subscribe(): WooCommerce MailChimp subscription failed: Your merge fields were invalid. (ss-wc-mc-api-request-error)”
I got the error the first time a few weeks ago, so I double-checked our merge fields on our pop-up and embedded form against our contact list. I found one error and fixed and all was fine. Today, I had five emails come in consecutively with the error. I’ve triple-checked our merge fields, run tests with my own personal emails, and confirmed that our API key is active. The plugins and WordPress are up to date. Please advise.

]]>Hi,
I sell the following product types on my Woocommerce site:
– Physical products
– Courses (one time payment for course access, managed by LearnDash)
– Subscriptions (renewing access to courses, managed by Woocommerce Subscriptions)
I installed this plugin in order to add customers to my audience on Mailchimp when they checkout. It works great, but all customers are added to the same audience without a way to tell them apart by what they purchased.
On my website, 99% of customers will purchase only one product type, meaning the cart will almost never have mixed types. I’d like to tag the contact on Mailchimp by the type of product he purchased on my website, so afterwards I can create campaigns that are specifically targeted to contacts that purchased each specific product type. How can I do that? Are there any hooks I can use which can help me set this up?
Thanks,
Yaniv
Hello,
Our client has been receiving emails with this error: SS_WC_MailChimp_Handler::maybe_subscribe(): WooCommerce MailChimp subscription failed: Your merge fields were invalid. (ss-wc-mc-api-request-error)
Are you able to assist? I’m not sure why the merge fields are invalid.

I was wondering if, and where, you see when someone checked the newsletter checkbox. Will this be visible in the WordPress/Woocommerce backend?

]]>The public function get_interest_categories_with_interests
(class-ss-wc-mailchimp.php:404) incorrectly returns false if ANY of the categories has no interests.
The expected behavior would be to return false if the final results array had only categories with no interests (or better yet, just don’t add categories without interests to the results array).
The end result/problem for the user can be seen in the plugin settings page, in the “Interest Groups” field, which incorrectly returns “This list does not have interest groups enabled”.

I received the error message linked above.
After checking the settings tab in Woo – the API key was not registering. I have had successful subscriptions with it for about 3 weeks – just started playing up now.
Oddly this morning it is recognising the API key again – I want to find out what went wrong though as I will now have to manually add the missed subscriptions to MC.
Any help would be great. Also will the plugin be okay with the new version of Woo before I update?
Thanks

]]>Hello, I noticed while composing new emails on the MailChimp (MC) platform that the eCommerce features are not working (related products, coupon codes, etc). I understand this plugin connects via API and it helps register subscribers. MC recommends using their plugin Mailchimp for WooCommerce (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/mailchimp-for-woocommerce/) which connects the store and provides features such as Abandoned Cart emails, access to coupons and related products while composing emails.
Does WP WooCommerce Mailchimp provide these features? If so, how can I troubleshoot it since I cannot make them work? Thank you

Hello,
I posted this using the ticket service that comes with the pro licence, but no one replied me. Request #3232, and I submitted it on November 27th. I made follow ups on December 3rd and 6th. So I’ll try to post my request here!
I have bought your pro version of the Mailchimp plugin. It works very well, but once in a while, i see this error
?2019-11-11T16:58:14+00:00 DEBUG SS_WC_MailChimp_Pro_Handler::subscribe_to_product_list(): Error returned from MailChimp: SS_WC_MailChimp_Pro_Handler::subscribe_to_product_list(): WooCommerce MailChimp subscription failed: Your merge fields were invalid. (ss-wc-mc-api-request-error)?
And I can’t figure why. I did not change my merge fields, and it happens with very few subscribers. Could you help me?
Thanks!
