Looks like this plugin is abandoned? Will the plugin author please respond?

This plugin has some bugs but most are not that difficult to resolve. But I always had the issue that sometimes customers do not see the popup or it will not work. Or people can add gifts multiple times.

I ignored those issues but as my store is growing it is not professional. Anyone to help? If this plugin is discontinued I am prepared to take over and invest in this plugin.

Settings :
– Cart total price – is greater than – 0
– Number of gifts allowed : 1

Reproduce:
– add product to cart
– Free gift dialogue box open
– Don’t select any gift item and clic on ADD to CART
– after Box refresh, Select gift item in dialogue box and clic on ADD to CART
– now you have 2 free gifts item in the cart

Is it possible to have two different gifts

1: when spending more than 50 euro’s
2: when spending more than 100 euro’s

A bug has appeared with this plugin and the latest updates from woocommerce.

I have it set, so you get a free gift over ￡20, but this does not work unless you spend over ￡24. Any Ideas?

Set over 19.99 and worked fine before.

Criteria
Spend over ￡20
Basket Total Price
is greater than
19.99

All plugins on the latest version including woocommerce.

I’m getting the error “Gift items removed as gift criteria isn’t fulfilled”. I’ve setup products to allow a free gift upon checkout. The cart shows the number of products but displays this error when going to checkout.

I edited the settings to make free gift available when customer orders $39.99 or more. Customer ordered $29.99 and was given a free gift. How do I fix this?

when I buy two products and the total price exceeds the amount I entered there will not popup a choosable free gift. It works fine when I buy 1 product for more than € 50,-, but not with 2. What goes wrong?

I am considering buying your PRO version but want to clarify wether or not it will be able to solve our problem, since the free version seems quite limited…

So we have 4 products in a certain product-category, we wish for our customers to be able to purchase at least a quantity of 5 products from this category to be able to obtain ONLY one of 3 variable products as a gift.

What we are mainly interested in knowing is 1. How does it work, when a variable product is used as a gift (how will the customer be able to make a choice for the variable product)? 2. How do we assure that only 1 product is chosen as a gift and not all 3 variable products

I’m having the next configuration for the plugin:
– When my costumers reach a specific amount of € in the cart, the gift is automatically added to the list of products.

The issue is:
-If the costumers decided to remove the items from the cart, reducing the price and not reaching the gift conditions, the gift is not being removed from the cart automatically.

The gift is still on the product list and added to the order if the player decide to buy the product

Hi, thanks for the great plugin, when the popup opens on the cart, the website favicon disappears, its due to popup HTML is in the head tag. You’ll need to hook HTML in the footer to avoid this issue.

Another nice feature that we currently added hardcoded is to open the popup on the checkout page as well for cases where users skip the cart page.

Product properties should not be accessed directly… Backtrace: do_action(‘wp_ajax_nopriv_wfg_add_gifts’), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, WFG_Frontend->wfg_ajax_add_free_gifts, WFG_Product_Helper::add_free_product_to_cart, WC_Abstract_Legacy_Product->__get, wc_doing_it_wrong. This message was added in version 3.0”

the problem is that until warnings get’s logged there is a delay in the site performance and it looks like the page is freezed, so many reload the page.
Can you please check the code to be compatible with woo?

On the file “woocommerce-multiple-free-gift/lib/helpers/WFG_Product_Helper.class.php” you have the function get_product_details( $product_id ) that has the line below for WPML compatibility.

$product_id = wpml_object_id_filter( $product_id, 'product', false, ICL_LANGUAGE_CODE );

The problem is if the product is not translated the plugin won’t work because it doesn’t find the product details on the language that it’s been used.

Why not allow WPML to return the original product_id (changing false to true, as below) if the product is not translated?

$product_id = wpml_object_id_filter( $product_id, 'product', true, ICL_LANGUAGE_CODE );

String and other things not working in multilanguage:

1. i can select only product from one language, in other language plugin not working (empty)
2. translation not working
