I just installed and tested this and it works, but I cannot get to the settings for changing the amount of days that determines whether a product is new or not.
I’m actually surprised it worked at all, considering the last review was more than 2 years ago.
A plugin update seems to be in order, otherwise I probably will eventually have to switch to something else that is more up to date with the current version of WooCommerce (3.4.3)

Great plugin, easy to use.

Would it be better if there is a link or a page, that will show all new products?
Thanks for the nice plugin.

I change design in my website in style.css file:
ul.products li.product .wc-new-badge {
font-size: 0.7em;
text-transform: uppercase;
color: white;
background:#eb4649;
padding:.2em .2em;
display: inline-block;
font-weight: 700;
border-radius:2px;
position: absolute;
top: 0px;
left: 0;
}

I just installed and activated the plugin however it’s not showing. Is there anything else I’m missing other than setting the days? Thanks.

1. Author of the plugin seems not to respond on support page so when you want to localize the badge to your language and you don’t know how – you’re out of luck.
2. The badge looks awful. Who the hell designed that? Color? Rotten strawberries. It should be green as green light on the road. Red colors usually are set for stop, warning, lack of something. Red color don’t seem right for new products. At least that’s my personal opinion. Set color is just a bad idea.
3. There are no options but the amount of days to show the badge. It’s too little. Where is style, color, translated “new” word?
In the end it’s useless for people who don’t know programming and are not from English speaking country.

Simple and effective. Really great extension.

It does what it says. My only suggestion would be an options page to allow the user to disable the plugin stylesheet completely so that the template styles can have complete control and the site doesn’t have to load the additional style. But it’s so small as to be inconsequential.
Thanks for developing this!

Works like a charm! Now, please make a thumbnail accept a video and open up in the fancybox window! (or whatever overlay you’re now using..)
