When a customer places an order directly on my website, the fee is applied correctly.

However, when I manually create an order and send the details via email, if the customer selects PayPal as the payment option, the fee isn’t charged. The same issue occurs if I send them the Customer Payment Page.

Is there a way to make this process automatic? Ideally, we don’t want to ask each customer for their payment method while negotiating.

Here is an example when the PayPal Fee is correctly charged to the customer:

In the first case, you can see the “PayPal Fee” before the Shipping Details. In that case, the customer made all the process through our website.

In the second case, the “Paypal Fee” is not there. We sent the Customer Paymen Page Link to the customer.

I have installed the plugin in my website. I have configured it in the payment section for the 'Contra reembolso' payment option. It seems working properly because the configuration appears besides the payment method in the payment method list. But when I make a test placing an order the amout I have fixed for this payment method is not added to the order total and is not appear the correspondent cost . And in the order is not added this cost. I have checked all and I don't undesrtand where is the proeblem and why it doesn't work.

We have been testing, because the cash on delivery percentage is applied in the cart when you select the shipping, on that page of the cart, then an incorrect amount appears as I see that the problem is when I activate the plugin: “Checkout for WooCommerce”.

I have been told from woocommerce support to comment here

The case is that the configuration of this plugin that makes the cash on delivery payment is fine but I do not know why a sum is made in the cart as if it were marked. I attach a screenshot of the configuration. If I deactivate it, when the customer makes the cash on delivery selection it will not add the amount, which is what happened to me in another test I have done.

when you set the cash on delivery fee in Pay for payment plugin, and also in Packeta by Toret plugin, there will be 2 same CoDs. You can set in the packeta plugin fee to 0€, so that you only have one fee, but in this case, when Pay for payment plugin is active, the CoD will desappear, so the customer cannot choose this payment option. Any idea how to fix this?

We have the plugin in use at one of our customers benke.ch. Since about 4 weeks we have the problem that now and then the fee for the payment is booked for an order, although the customer has chosen a payment method that has no fee.

For most orders (and there are many) it works fine. But with about every 50 orders the fee is suddenly charged even though no payment method with the fee was selected.
Unfortunately, we can not generate the error even in the frontend and are therefore dependent on help.
Is this problem known?

Hi and thanks for the simplified but great plugin! I have multiple payment methods and I enabled for COD only, but I want the COD charge fee to show in checkout only instead of cart. Is it possible to somehow hide it from showing in cart with CSS or something?

In August the High Performance Order Storage (HPOS) will be prepared in Woocommerce. Plugins that are not compatible will be removed from the marketplace. Pay for Payment for WooCommerce is not yet compatible with HPOS. Do you plan to make the changes for the next updates?

Our client wants to use WooCommerce Payments, and therefore add a charge on ApplePay and GooglePay (only). The other payment methods (credit cards, paypal etc) are set up with wallee which works great.

The problem with WooCommerce Payments is that no extra charge field appears in the settings as the interface differs from the other methods.

Is it simply not possible?

Hi, your plugin has become such an important tool for us, it’s super simple and effective — we really love it.
We were planning to start using the new Wocommerce Cart and Checkout blocks (https://woocommerce.com/pt-br/checkout-blocks/) because it offers an improved checkout experience but we noticed some glitches using Pay for Payment:
– If the payment method on top of the list has an extra fee, then that fee remains the same even if we change to a free payment method.
– If the first payment method is free of charge, then changing to a payment method with extra fees does not produce changes in the total payable amount.

In sum, the cost of the first payment on the list is always assumed. Are you planing to add compatibility with the Woocommerce Checkout Blocks?

I want to remove Stripe payment fees. Plugin settings do not appear when I go to Stripe payment settings. I’m only having this problem in Stripe, other payment gateways are fine, plugin settings appear. I deleted and reinstalled the plugin but all settings are back as they were. I guess the settings are stored somewhere. I just want to remove payment gateway fees in stripe. How can I do that?

Moj problem je, ze sa mi v pokladni zobrazi Dobirka duplicitne.
Jedna z pluginu Pay for Payment, druha z pluginu Ceska Posta.
V pripade, ze v nastaveni pluginu Ceska posta dobirku vypnem, toto nastavenie akceptuje aj plugin Pay for payment a dobírku pre tuto dopravu vobec neponukne. A to aj ked ju mam povolenu v nastaveni Pokladna / Dobirka / Povolit zpusob dopravy.

When I add a product to the cart and then navigate to the cart page, the payment charge is displayed, but I haven’t chosen a payment method yet.

Is there a way to disable it and just show it on the checkout page?

It can cause confusion to customers since the charge is shown even if they have not yet selected a payment method

In Argentina it is common to charge the offer price only in cash, and the regular price for other payment methods (credit cards for example).

Adding a fee at the end of the checkout is not an option.

I haven’t found anything like it.

Thanks for a great plugin. We have an issue with VAT in Slovenia, where a 9,50 % rate is applied. However, the plugin always charges 10 % – it seems it ignores the decimal and always rounds up the rate.
