Just awful, I don’t know which “Woopayment” account belongs to which website. I can no longer login to my stripe account to access these “woopayments” it’s just a gigantic mess and confusing. I like the old Stripe integration.

Crooks and thieves. Stole my money along with Strype.
Some scammer made a small purchase of a digital product (book) for 8 euros on my website. Then when he received the book he created a dispute. In response to the claim, evidence of customer abuse was provided, but even before then Stripe stole 15 euros + 8 euros from my account.
And yes, Srtype script is executed on every page of the site, even not related to payment and is the strongest brake of the site.

One of the worst payment methods: the platform deducts a percentage without safeguarding the seller’s(store) funds, leaving customers with fraudulent claims in every dispute, and on top of that customer is keeping the product.

Activating the credit card payement is mandatory to access to the other functionalities which is really forced sale of stripe and woo partnership. Not everybody wants to use such a gateway and a lot of banks have its own gateway sometimes cheaper than stripe. Plugin is not designed to help but to capture shop owner in an dirty obligation.

They hold your money way too long. I’ve used Stripe, Paypal, and LawPay for years and never had as much of a problem with them as I have with this app. As a small business owner long holds on your cash can be catastrophic.

I’ve just noticed that failed credit card transactions are not leaving the reason in order notes anymore. It is important to understand what is the failure reason on a customer order to help them out. Has this been made on purpose or is a bug in the last release?

i received the email, and you analyzed my website had problem and wanted to closed it within 24hours. please tell me how to do. I already checked with stripe, my account is ok. So why your company said that is the requirement from Stripe?

I have previously used worldpay for my website for over 20 years and was a bit nervous about designing a new site using WordPress and woo commerce. I have now been up and running with the new site for 8 months and I wish I had done it a long time ago. Not only does my new site look better, it has increased sales by 50% over my old site. I suspect this is simply because the site looks great, functions well and offers better payment options using woo payments. In addition the cost of running the site and taking payments is much less than it was with worldpay. Overall I am very pleased!

woopayments and stripe colluded to steal all my money!, they will wait for customers to pay a lot of money and lock your account unreasonably! There is not a single case opened by the customer but they still lock the account!

I moved to woocommerce payments and use woopayments which sits on top of stripe express. My main reason was for the Apple and Google pay support which worked out of the box. Also, the fees are lower than using a service like Paypal. The transitions was a bit scary at first as there is little information to be gotten from stripe express. You have to give all your bank info and contact info to get started. You have to take payments for about 7 days before the transactions started going to my account which for a busy store can be a load of money. The support is all via email through woocommerce. I had issues with the Apple pay about 2months in. It stopped working for my customers and I had to disable it. I actually got decent support for woocommerce over about a month which ended up fixing the issue which was related to a Bluehost plugin. Since then it has been smooth. My transactions move smoothly every 2 days to my account, and refunds have been handled easily which happens a couple times a month on a busy store. The transactions are all logged right in your store which is nice, but I would have thought you would get more information from stripe. One improvement would be if the tax collected on the transaction was in the transaction log, which would make my book keeping a lot easier. The only reason for the 4 stars was the initial transition time delay and the issue with Apple Pay.

I’ve been using Woopayments for almost a year now. I’ve had no problems using it. Setup is easy, payments are coming through without a problem. Emailed the support team once with a question and got the info I needed really quickly. Friendly follow ups too. Would definitely recommend.

Hi,
I like many people, would like to build an ecommerce store using Woocommerce.
So I installed Woocommerce. This app then suggested me to install Woopayments.
Even though my website is a brand new store i reluctantly installed woopayments.
In less than 24 hours and without selling a single product my account is permantelt suspended.
This is the message you get from Woopayments with no opportunity to ask why or to correct any policy violation:
The only product i had listed was a garlic press in the home and kitchen category.

This is a terrible user experience when they can just suspend people for no reason, especially when they have not violated any policies or laws. I didn’t have any customers so it’s definitely not due to bad customer service or experience.

Poor setup instructions, very difficult to use in sandbox mode or live mode.
I couldn’t understand the information I am entering is to create a WooPayments account or Stripe account (which I already have).
Please put your self in the shoes of the user and you will see that the setup is lacking clear steps and informations.

The failure for Woopayments to make it at all clear, that even if you have had stripe before, and used it, they will still hold your money for 7 days.. I am tired of these awful tactics as all you are doing is holding onto it, so on top of the fee’s i already paid you, that you will now earn interest while you hold our money in your accounts.
7 days is far too long, my prints are produced and sent by 6 days. I am now having to delay an order which was a urgent order, because woopayments cant be bothered send me my earnings.
I am never using this trash again.

Navigating the integration of a unified retail/online system with Woo can be quite challenging, especially amidst the backdrop of various commerce platforms vying for dominance with their own offerings. The lack of a simple POS app from Woo has been particularly frustrating. Moreover, the absence of any communication regarding the ETA for In-Person Payments to be available in Australia for over 18 months has compounded this frustration.
Transitioning all my clients to WooPayments in anticipation of this feature, only to encounter complete radio silence, has been deeply disappointing. When Stripe introduced Tap to Pay on iOS and Stripe Terminal to Australia, I naturally assumed that WooPayments, being hosted by Stripe, would seamlessly adopt these functionalities. However, Woo has consistently ignored this request, instead deflecting blame onto Stripe whenever contacted for support. Despite explaining my status as a Stripe partner and acknowledging that the limitation lies with WooPayments, they persist in recommending the completion of the “Request your country form,” a process I have diligently undertaken over the past 18 months.

I would highly recommend choosing against Woopayments. I had an account with them for several years, then they suspended my account and said I violated the Terms of Service but refused to tell me what they were accusing me of. They said once an account is rejected they can not disclose the reason, so they are accusing me of doing something but cant, or wont, tell me what I’m being accused of. I am marked as a minority owned business and a woman owned business so I asked if it was based on that since they can’t provide any reason at all or any proof I violated anything and they told me to review the TOS (which I told them I already had and there was nothing there that I had violated) and to choose another payment platform. The customer service reps are marked as “happiness engineers”, what a joke.

I can not recommend this plugin in any way at all. Twice it has broken my site after an update. I’m in the middle of restoring backups and then recreating changes since the latest update. I have wasted so much time with this plugin. I’m changing to something else.
