]]>Hey!
Hopefully someone will be able to help me.
I have 2 languages. So i have added this widget 2 times in widget area, both have different language selected. For the one of the languages everything works perfectly, but when i added the second one, it just shows me “No product categories exist.” Categories were added before and they are also thicked in “Product categories widget”.
Any ideas what could i try?
Ps. When i selected to show categories as dropdown, for some reason 2 categories appeared. In total i have about 20.

]]>The plugin just don’t do anything.
I don’t know if there’e an issue with WP, Woo, or the theme since it doesn’t display any message, error or warning.
So, on WP5 + Woo 3.5.2 – the widgets don’t seem to display only the checked categories for that widget. It will display all categories, “Only show children of the current category” works though….

]]>Hi Guys, The plugin works amazing! I am having a small challenge.
When on a desktop it looks fantastic but on mobile devices, the sidebar takes up the entire page and it does not look great.
Is there a way to hide the sidebar on mobile or better yet is there a way to make it a drop down on mobile devices only?
Thanks in advance!
]]>This is a great plugin, please could you either do one or both slight improvements. Allow the product count to be hidden, or wrap the product count in a span call so that is can be styled or hidden that way?

HI
URGENT
I have been testing this plugin (WooCommerce Product Categories widget) which seems to work so far so good.
I notice looking back at previous support a lot of the questions are left unanswered with no support which is strange ?
I hope someone can help !
So for my testing, I have added a menu to the order I want with sub-categories.
Then gone and added the Widget and added the MENU page on the sidebar with the help of your plugin which seems great.
My only question, is as this is for Woocommerce and we have sub-categories for each category, the widget displays ALL Categories and sub-categories OPEN in the MENU in a full list OPEN all menu items when I test it. All sub-categories are open down the list also so the MENU is like 60cm long. I prefer to have the Categories MENU minimised, then people can CLICK on the Category they want to see the sub-categories and THEN it opens the sub-categories for just that category.
OR even better, would prefer to have all Categories minimised, then when client clicks on a particular category, THEN all the sub-category OPENS up automatically.
Like you can in the general Woocommerce sidebar option to choose Woocommerce sub-category in the sidebar and option to show “ONLY show children of the current category”, that would be great but maybe I am dreaming of a possibility that doesn’t exist in this plugin, not sure ?
How do I manage to do this ? Please advise ?

Thx
Kristin
I have come across a site having these sub categories being laid out as drop down lists, is it possible to achieve this type of layout with Elementor? please refer the link:
or can someone please point in the direction to achieve that effect
thank you
Hi,
I added multiple widgets and having issues:
For 1 widget I just wanted to display a drop down with certain categories; this one worked fine; I picked the categories I wanted to limit too and it worked
For another widget, I wanted to pick another list of categories, but this one didn’t work; neither as a drop down or as a full list. What ever I pick results in the full list of categories in there.
This doesn’t seem to be working properly which is a real shame..

So I’m posting this message on both forums

]]>Anyway for this to work for category depth greater than 1? I have categories 2 and 3 levels deep but they don’t show up on the checklist.
]]>I’m having a certain product-category widget where I need many categories listed. Suddenly I cannot add more. I tried to count there are about a 1000. Is this the limit for categories you could add to 1 drop-down menu?
How could I get around this?
Basically I try to add categories by checking the boxes, then I save and when I go back the boxes are again unchecked.
There seems to be a limit. How can I solve this for me so I can get more than a 1000 categories listed under 1 widget/drop-down menu?…
Thank you so much for the help, I would really appreciate it.

]]>Thanks for the awesome plugin.
This plugin works as expected on widgetized areas,
however i seem to get it to work on a Menu’s widgetized area.
I am using Woocommerce’s Storefront theme along with their “Mega Menu” plugin
but this plugin does not seem to work with their Mega Menu Widgetized area.
No matter what settings i choose, the widget will display all the categories in the site.
I was wondering if this has not been implemented , a bug or is specific to my case.
Best Regards,
Taka
Trying to view expandable/collapsible product categories, so tried your plugin. Have it setup to view expandable/collapsible in sidebar widget, but +/- signs don’t show up on the top levels, and when I click on a top-level category it navigates to the archive page where the expand/collapse function works, but you can’t see the +/- still. Site is in dev mode so no link, but I can post whatever info is needed. Thanks.

]]>HI there,
I have installed the plugin on my site and it caused us quite a havoc. It ruined the layout showing only the header and a scroll in the whole website and on any link I click. I have tried deactivating and deleting it but the website is still the same now and I really can’t do much as I had no backup with the last modifications I did before the install.
Would very much appreciate any help from any one.
Thanks

]]>Hi,
great plugin, it solves a big problem ??
is it possible to show also the breadcrumbs for the categories?
when I have a product in multiple cat., wooc. shows only the breadcrumb-way, which is first in the alphabet.
We want multiple breadcrumbs, so that the customer can choose which way he goes back.
Any idea?
Best regards
