Hello,
I was wondering how can we create filters based on different page.
Currently I am using this code [woof is_ajax=1 taxonomies=product_cat:379] to create filters on the side and i have excluded some filter in the backend setting.
However for one of my page I only need 1 main category to show in the filter and its sub categories. how can I improve the code to show only one main category on the filters and its subs.
Thanks

When you turn on the plugin, all the “Husky (formerly known as WOOF) plugin” filters stop working (the regular version)
The “Woof-by-category” plugin always returns an empty array of filters.
I looked at the code. I have an assumption that the problem lies in the fact that I use the SLUG as a numeric value. When saving the filter settings, if the SLUG is a string, then everything is fine. If the SLUG is a number, then the settings array contains a sequence number instead of the true SLUG. In the process, “Woof-by-category” starts going through the parent categories to change the filter from “Husky” and compares my SLUG with an incomprehensible number, the history of which is a mystery to me.
I’m not good at PHP, but I’m willing to spend two more days to get to the truth.

]]>Hi there, having trouble after filter implementation. The filter is already showing correctly but however when the pages fully reloads, the filter auto hide itself. Is there a bug? Is it possible to remove the canonical redirect to the category from the pages created by the filter, so that the search results are also indexed?
Is it possible to create our title and description on the pages, created by the filter?
Is it possible to hide only the parent category using a shortcode?
I tried using the shortcode [woof taxonomies=product_cat:360,372], but the parent category of these children is still appearing. I’m using the pro version of WOOF plugin.
]]>Hello,
Ive used your plugin and havent had this issue before, Ive added some new Attributes and have linked these to products, However i go into your plugin and cannot see them on the list, I also notice one of options appears blank.

For troubleshooting, ive cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled plugin.
Hey there – we really love this plugin – thank you for it!
One issue we have is however, that the filters don’t work on any category that has subcategories. We think it is, because the categories are shown to have 0 products, despite the subcategory having the products. So in essence, the filters only work on the lowest level.
Do you have an idea on how we can get the filters to work on the parent categories also?
You can see the bug here: https://www.krshop.de/product-category/badminton/textilien/
And here’s a screenshot of the settings:

]]>Hi there,
I am really excited about this plugin, it should give me just what I need. However, after installing and setting up 7 categories, there is no difference to the category pages. The general WOOF widget is there doing its job fine. But it has the tags for ALL the products, not the products of the relevant category.
Where is the magic button to get this nice plugin working as it should on the category pages?
Who can help?
Cheers, Marjoline

I don’t understand why the plugin deactivates itself.
I thought the first one was a mistake or an oversight on my part.
But now I realize that the plugin is disabled without me doing anything.
No problem with the other plugins.
Does anyone have this problem?

Is this default and if so: how can reduce the size of it?
Or is this a compatibility issue with my theme?
I have switched off the overlay skin for now, but this is what it looks like:

I would like to give to our users with the role of Woocommerce Manager to be able to set your filter.
What type of permissions do I have to give from either the members/user role editor plugins?
Thank you!
]]>Multi-select drop-downs are problematic when you have really long lists of categories. A simple twitch in the mouse finger and you can un-select all of your previously selected categories and have to start over again.
Checkboxes are much easier to manage and much easier for less tech-savy people (clients) who want to make updates to their filters.

Hello,
I couldn’t create filter profiles. How can I create different filters for different categories?
Thank you in advance.
]]>Could you add the ability to attach filters to tags?
It would also be possible to slightly change the logic of the work for ease of management. For example, a set of filters is created, and categories and tags are added to the set through custom fields.
Let’s say we create a set of filters “Smartphones”, specify the necessary filters there and the corresponding categories and tags on which they should be displayed.
When there are a lot of categories and tags, a large list of filter sets is obtained.

]]>Hi,
So we have an issue with our filter, when you try use the filter with any subcategories, it will keep the parent category selected and show all those products too.
Category <— will also be selected when selecting subcat
– Subcat 1
– Subcat 2 <— selected by user
– Subcat 3
Is there a way to filter for the selected subcategories but not the parent category?
