Hi there, I was so excited when I saw this plugin! I have just installed WordHue, as we have all our lighting connected. I followed the instructions, but nothing appears on the page I setup, and I wonder if I have done something wrong.
I have the local IP address and have generated an authenticated user as per the instructions, and I know those two are correct. The only other two possibilities I can think of as to why it isn’t working/displaying is:
1. The Post ID is incorrect. I have created a page called /Lights and wonder perhaps if how I have entered that into Post ID is wrong? e.g. should it be just the page name, or the full web address etc? I’ve tried various combinations but nothing seems to work.
2. I noticed that the plugin is compatible up to 5.0.17 and since I am on 6.0.2 maybe that could be why?
Perhaps there is another setting somewhere I need to adjust?
]]>Hey.
I just installed WordHue but i don’t get any option to dimm my lights.
Know a fix?
]]>I am getting the following WP_Error when running the shortcode on my page:
Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /homepages/26/d412001039/htdocs/www.xel4.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/wordhue/includes/lighting-lights.php on line 15
Am I the only one having having this problem or is there a re bug in the plugin code?
My bridge is setup correctly and I can “get” the “lights” information if I use the Philips Hue debug tool and enter the “/api/username/lights” url manually in my browser.
I have tried to work around the problem, but I cant get it to work.
Thanks for your help.
