Hello,

for your information, I’ve installed your plugin. It doesn’t work because it requires jQuery immediately after the countdown.
In my case, I load jQuery in the footer for performance reasons.

After seeing that I removed your plugin and installed another one.

I suggest you if you really want to use jQuery instead of pure JavaScript (that would be a lot better in this case), load jQuery later. You have no reasons to load it so early.

I hope it helps to don’t lose users for whom performance matters.

Great widget, trying to insert a count up timer (from date) with no information button.

If I insert the below short code it works but is a countDOWN:
[countdown date=”29 October 2021″ link=”false”]

If I insert the below short code it does not work as a countUP:
[countup date=”29 October 2020″ link=”false”]

Hello guys,

I am currently trying to create a custom page template that is going to show content only when the countdown expires. I tried to put the shortcode on a conditional (do_shortcode[”]) but since it only verifies if the shortcode exists is always true even if the countdown expired. I was hoping to do something like this:
if (countdown still running){show countdown}else{show custom code}

Is there a way I can achieve this?

Hello, it can be set so that, for example, every 10 minutes it restarts automatically, that is, once the 10 minutes are over, it returns to 10 and starts the count again.

Hi, first off great light weight plugin, however I have an issue with global timers not adjusting for daylight savings.

It seems this causes the timer to be out by an hour in some timezones. Any work around for this?

if possible please add more ranges of the labels based on numbers, maybe defined like in the .po translation files.

However, the counter always starts from the same moment. I need to have the cache enabled so that the page loads faster.

Theme customization not possible with activated plugin

When countdown widget plugin is activated, the customization of my theme is not possible anymore. The preview doesn’t load and the menus on the left don’t expand upon clicking.

Deactivating the plugin makes things work again.

Can't change font size

I am using this widget on https://amy-and-duncan-are-getting-married.co.uk/rsvp/
I have changed the format to display in days and I have managed to change the font size of the title, however I want to change the font size of the countdown time as it’s small and not as clear to read, I’ve read up and I can’t seem to find whereabouts the css file is, I can right click and click on inspect element (Google Chrome) and add these 2 lines
padding-top: 10px;
font-size: 25px;

and can see the changes but I can’t find anywhere the css property
#shailan-countdown-2, .shailan-countdown-2.hasCountdown {

Any help would be grateful
