Hello guys,
I haven’t realy figured out how your plung-in works and don’t know if it’ of any good for me. Here’ the thing: I receive a lot of “Facebook likes” on my blog posts on WordPress and I post the same article on Facebook. I would like to link somehow the Fb likes, that I receive on WordPress for my article, with the same article that I’ve posted on Fb.
Is this possible?

I am not a developer or IT specialist. I am just a simple guy with a WordPress page.

I’ve had this problem with every single facebook like plugin i’ve tryed. It don’t seems to like on facebook if you push the like button. The plugin gives it a count, but nothing on facebook.

I am trying to get rid of the border-top on this widget and have tried to override it in custom.css but it will not override. Here is the css in like_box.php but I cannot find this file

.pluginBoxDivider {
		border-top: 1px solid #d8dfea;
}

So in custom.css I have tried this so far but it does not work

The Facebook like icon created with this plug-in has suddenly disappeared from the bottom of my posts (along with all the accumulated FB likes) I’ve made no changes so I have no idea why this has happened. How do I fix this? My blog is https://www.planbnation.net

Some individuals (but not all) using IE 8 and Windows XP report that the site freezes, but only on the blog postings. Going to a page works normally, which allowed me to narrow it down to this as the #1 suspect. Disabling it allows these individuals to use the site normally.

I have been using this plugin on two different blogs for some time. I have noticed in the last month that the load times of my blogs have been so bad that it would take up to 30 seconds before you could scroll down. This delay was in Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Well today I finally got fed up and started disabling plugins to find out if that had anything to do with the problem.

Well it was this plugin causing the delay.

I like the plugin and would like to still use it, but unless there is a fix for the delays it causes for the blog to load, I will have to try to find something else.

I appreciate that the button shows on posts and pages, but how about attachments? WP’s internal Gallery feature works reasonably well and I use it a lot. I would appreciate if people were able to also like individual images, not just the whole post with gallery of thumbs. Any chance this could be implemented?

I had to disable the facebook like button because Firefox 4 (the update) throws it out of the layout.

Any fixes for this?

The like box info is now missing but the plugin still renders the div to place it in, it’s as if the graphic is missing

I have foolishly upgraded the 0.3 version into 0.4 and my Google Analytics are a complete mess. I noticed that Google now sends traffic to pages appended with this fragment which is a blank page, ultimately screwing over my potential visitors who are likely to just leave and never come to my site again. I just wondered how to display like button in tag archive loop. I hacked script a little bit so I see like button in category archive loop, but I don’t see it in tag archive page. Anyone? thanks

Today I was searching for a new Facebook Like button to replace the previous plugin that I’d been using, because a recent upgrade led to badly-written code.

My suggestion for this plugin: please make it easier for users to insert the plugin manually to our templates. As a general rule, I refuse to use plugins that automatically put elements on my page without giving me the option of doing it manually.

It’s easy to find the function from the PHP file, but there’s no option to stop the plugin from automatically inserting the function again. This results in two “like” buttons on the same page. and the only way around that is to edit the plugin. Again, I can do that easily, but I won’t: because I know that every time I have to upgrade this plugin, I’ll have to do the same thing again.

Every post on my site, when “liked,” shows up on the person’s facebook profile with the following description: “You may use these HTML tags and attributes.”

How can I get the post that shows up on their facebook page to have a description of my page’s content instead of those HTML instructions (which I assume facebook grabs from my comment box?)?
