hi mike,
with one of the last versions your plugin broke down. in our case (horizonte.com) it caused masive 19 redirects. funnily: just for some users, and it seems also to be not happening permanently. debugging was hard.
disabled plugin. checked with https://www.redirect-checker.org/. no redirects. enabled again. massive 19 redirects. please fix or remove, right now the plugin is really dangerous as it can break your whole website…
cheers
frank
Some plugins (e.g. WP-Pro-Quiz) enqueue jquery stylesheets using http, e.g.
https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.8.2/themes/smoothness/jquery-ui.css
This causes Chrome to ignore the sylesheet with the message
“This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.”
I could probably implement the solution suggested at
https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/hooks/style_loader_tag/#user-contributed-notes but it would be nice if this plugin took care of that automatically.
Is this functionality already there and I should have checked an option, or is this an enhancement you could consider?

Directing to /kontakt for example opens the page.
The following error is available:

Any help is appreciated very much.

I’ve already seen that there are a few threads yet on that topic, but I still don’t know how to deal with it.
Since the installation of the Plugin “WordPress HTTPS (SSL)” my testpage is not visible anymore (also the WP Admin Login does not work anymore.
I already made an SSL server test via: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/
and the root cannot be found anymore (the main Domain can be found)
I always get this Error: ERR_SSL_UNRECOGNIZED_NAME_ALERT
That’s the Domain: https://v2.miteinander-reden.net/ Host is Strato.
Could you please help me? Thank you very much in advance.
Cheers,

Hi,
i dont see https when i go to my website https://www.vagobeleggen.nl
i did activate the plugin,.
help ??
Hello, since installing this plugin, my admin dashboard doesn’t display correctly, and I’m struggling to find the solution. I read that it is to do with CSS not loading properly?
Is there a setting, or a set of instructions, to follow to solve this issue? I have followed the instruction to use ‘/’ as a parameter to make all pages secure on my website.
Thank you in advance, this is quite worrying for me!
]]>I am implementing https on my wordpress site but I don’t want it to affect my search engine results. If I use this plugin, am I still required to add a 301 redirect in the .htaccess file?
]]>Hi,
I am having trouble with this plugin in the multi-site environment.
For the main website (Site #1), the media files are being replaced with the incorrect sub domain.
Enabling the debugger shows me this:
[FIXED] Element: https://domain.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/footer.jpg => https://wrong-subsite.domain.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/footer.jpg
(index):1385
[FIXED] Element: https://domain.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/testimonial-section.jpg?id=15141 => https://wrong-subsite.domain.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/testimonial-section.jpg?id=15141
For these media files, they are also being incorrectly set inside of the wp-admin area. When I click the media folder to view the details of the image, it has the wrong-subsite.domain.com information that is not editable.
The subsite being incorrectly set, is site #15 out of about 80 subsites. I have tried many of the settings but do not see what is causing this.
When I disable this plugin, the links start showing properly again.
Can anybody please help?

]]>Silly me, locked myself out and can’t get back in to the dashboard.
I (stupidly it seems) in General_Settings changed the site url to https. And now can’t get back to …/wordpress/wp-admin.php. (each time I try the url changes to https:… which it can’t find!)
I read the FAQ “How do I reset the plugin’s settings?”
– And using FileZilla uncommented the line “//define(‘WPHTTPS_RESET’, true);”
– Saved the file (then checked it had saved OK)
– refreshed one of my pages
– commented back the line above and saved the file
But still can’t get the dashboard.
Have I misread/misused the FAQ instructions?
Any help, much appreciated.
I found this plugin through a link on Hostgator’s website which is the hosting service I use. I downloaded and activated the plugin and now I’m locked out of the dashboard for both this plugin and all other plugins. I keep receiving a 404 message anytime I click on plugins. I upgraded my plan so that I now have a dedicated IP address but it has changed nothing. Please help.
]]>Hi
I am using the plugin on a network site. On the network admin I am changing the network settings to https://etc but when I press save all the network sites revert to http. I have tried repeating this in the site admin and it saves it but doesn’t default to https again.
One of the network site addresses is abistudios.uk/maps. If I navigate to it, it goes to http but I am trying to get it to default to https.
Any ideas please?
Thanks
Rich
]]>I did a Mistake on change from HTTP to HTTPS.
What i did:
I pressed already to force Admin to SSL before i made the SSL on Page.
How can i change this back without Admin-Interface? –> It Always tell me “Can’t reach this page”
My Hoster already put the SSL Zertificate on the Server and it should work.
Thank you.
