I have found an error in the code that was revealed by the web inspector on the Safari browser. Basically there three extra ‘:’ (semi colons) in the file wp-drawer.php. These actually relate to CSS but for some reason are not in the CSS files. There are a few other things in that file also relating to CSS in case anyone has been having a hard time locating some things.
The relevant code section is below:
case 'top':
$handle_position = "7%;";
break;
case 'middle':
$handle_position = "40%;";
break;
case 'bottom':
$handle_position = "93%;";
break;
That is the uncorrected version, and as you will see there are semi colons after the percent symbols which throw an error. Probably not that serious but it might be one of the reasons IE doesn’t seem to like the plugin. I have had several reports that the drawer stays open in IE but I haven’t been able to test that as I use a Mac!

]]>Hi! I’m trying to get the plugin to align to the right side of my page wrapper instead of the browser window so that it aligns with the right side of my web design. I see that the PHP is rendering it at the beginning of the document but I’d like it to render inside my wrapper div element. How can I accomplish this? Is there anyway the developers could add a CSS class/id feature to render the plugin wherever you want in the page? This would make this plugin infinitely useful to me. Thanks!

]]>Hi,
I’d like to make it so that the drawer will close/open only when the tab is clicked. I have a form with a submit button in the drawer and clicking on the submit button forces the drawer to automatically close. I’d like the drawer to remain open so that the person submitting the form can see any errors in the form before the drawer closes.
Thanks,
Dorothy

]]>Hey your plugin works great thanks for putting it out there for everyone to use.
However, I would like to be able to get the plugin to load into the wrapper of my theme not outside of it. Is there a way that this can be done? Here is the site I am working on it at: https://junto.franklinstreetwebserver.com/.
I want to do this so when the position of the window scales the tab doesn’t hover over the content. I am currently using top right on the options in the WP-admin menu.
Thanks,
Carter

I have 2 suggestions: if the sliding tab is used left or right, add an option to alter the height.
And maybe a nice one could be adding opacity to the tab.
Almost forgot: will there be an update soon? If so, please add a repair for the upside down tab in Internet Explorer.

What does that “?” mean? I’ve looked through all the drawer css files and can’t find what I’m looking for.

The issue is that when the drawer is ‘closed’ you are still able to scroll to the right and see the ‘hidden’ part of the drawer. Not sure why this is happening. I don’t want the drawer to be the full length (height) of the side. It needs to stay the size it is. Thoughts?

]]>I’m using WP-UserLogin 5.4 plugins in the excellent drawer. It’s working fine, when I’m logged out by default. I can log in using the drawer panel and the WP-UserLogin plugin. But when I log out using the same rout, the drawer remains a bit open on the right side and left side. If I click on the drawer, it opens, and then it closes, when I click to close, as good as it is.
I think it’s conflicting with the other plugins’ codes.
Take care.
