your plugin is not authenticating my wordproof account. it is showing a Webhook failed message:- “The timestamp sent by WordProof was not received on your website.Please contact the WordProof support team to help solve this problem.”

I have 7 pages timestamped (1 duplicated) and the proof shows in Wordproof.com

Is there a list with known conflicting plugins and/or themes available?

I’ve just this week started using Wordproof and apparantly posts and pages are stamped upon update as i see the amount of timestamps decrease, but i don’t see a stamp appear on the pages, also not in the sourcecode. If i find the time i’ll digg in deeper to find the issue, but perhaps other users have had issues and conflicts before that are available to be shared with others.

Since the update, there is nothing left in your WordPress dashboard to go to settings, see what posts/pages are timestamped and which are not, it’s like it’s completely gone in your dashboard, re-enabling the plugin gives you the button “change settings” in a pop-up of some sort, but not a single option in your dashboard? That’s insanely bad UI/UX.

Is this plugin tested with WP 5.9 and PHP 8.1? It works, but it would feel good if a plugin that is used to make a site more trustworthy also is updated and in par with the platform it is used in, in my opinion.

For some reason the Wordproof certificate is not showing in a specific post type (the business profile).
I can do the timestamping in the backend and the post is timestamped yet the green certificate is not visible.
For other custom post types the certificate is visible as expected (e.g. projects)
I tried to manually insert the code below in the page with no result.

1. We’re using a multisite setup for WP. Does every site in WP count as 1 “website” or can we use the same secret key for all of them?

2. We’re fetching the content via WordPress’ REST api. Currently we’re not interested in showing the certificate link on the site and have enabled the setting “Hide the certificate link on all pages”. Does any code from Wordproof run when fetching posts via the REST api or will it affect the performance in any way do you think? Or does only Wordproof code run when a post is timestamped if that option is disabled?

I edited the page and immediately looked at it in incognitomode and it says that the page is changed after the timestamp. What I know I pressed save on the page, everything look ok in admin and roughly a minute after I checked the page and get error status.

Can you see what it can be? I do not think I have any dynamic information on this page.

I timestamped this page in the last few days. I had how to json-ld in the body of the page. Now suddenly, the code appears to be invalid, at least as far as Google is concerned. It appears that the ArticleTimeStamp @type: “ArticleTimeStamp” is not playing nice with the on page HowTo Schema. The onpage schema checks out good on it’s own in Google Testing tool, rich results, and json playground. I don’t have all the \r \n, etc on the actual page

It looks certain that once I timestamped the article, it rendered the code this way, below, which does not work. ****The first section of code is a copy and paste from the source page. The 2nd section, I tried to copy and paste from Google’s Rich Results fail, but it did not copy/ past perfectly, though you get the point.

When analyzing my page with GTMetrix or other pagespeed services, I get a warning about a frontend.css file not being delivered through a CDN. I do use Litespeed plugin where all CSS file is minified, delivered by CDN and what not but the Wordproof one seem not to be handled properly. Is it a Litespeed problem that I should report to them or is it something that Wordproof can/should handle?

This is the info I get in GTMetrix results (I changed the domain name manually so you have to image what the domain name is ?? ):

Something that I can configure somewhere or something you guys want/need to change? I dont know what is mandatory for good grades in the different tests Google and Bing offer but it is of course always nice to get high grades if possible ??

I can see that when I edit pages something, I dont understand what, every now and then use up two timestamps with really short time in between. In this examples it looks like (when I click the certificate comparison in front end) that it was tagged the same second twice however I think I only saved this page once by clicking save. I did test this on the root address as well and then I got two timestamps two seconds apart.

Could it be some plugin I have that trigger more than one timestamp request?

Just started using Wordproof & it seems to work fine.
But even though we have manually time-stamped all the posts, the few pages that require it & everything is up to date, we keep getting a popup telling saying another 140+ posts etc need time-stamping.
No matter how many times it is dismissed, it comes back every new log in. Settings are set to posts only and they are all timestamped.
Is there a way to disable it or to just remind us when something really does need attention?

After the bulk Timestamp, most WordProof badges show: This content is WordProof

But the WordProof badge with a few articles still shows the following:

“This content is not WordProof

Content has changed since the last timestamp

The website has updated the content of this page since it was last timestamped on the blockchain.”

My question is as below.

After the bulk Timestamp, the content of the article has not been modified.

Why it still appears: This content is not WordProof

By viewing the source code, I can see WordProof code is loading on the page and a div is being inserted after the post content. The div, however, is empty.

I’m a newbie with WordProof Timestamp. I just installed it and I saw that the certificate is displayed on home page (3 languages).
To be honest, I prefer don’t have the homepage certificate, but only the pages/posts that I want to.
Haw can I remove the certificate from the home?

When I edit a post and save the timestamping seem to work fine, however if I go into Posts and browse through that list and click the button “Request new callback” I get “Something went wrong.” immediately. I can go into posts with that message though, save the post and get the timestamp so I hope that it has nothing to do with firewalls.

I have looked with Chrome console and do not receive any errors in that.

I’m using the free version of WordProof and I love that it allows me to protect my original content. I’ve been having an issue where the “Waiting for callback” status seems to be stuck in a pending state. Thanks for any help.

When I have a timestamped page or image the certificate is inserted as a screen wide row. I can use css to make it hidden or not to display but I would prefer it to be like a watermark, discretely showing over the corner of the image or post.

I am using the automatic method but it says: No connection could be established. Please re-check your Site Key.

After seeing some websites copy some of our pages, Wordproof drew our interest. Having installed the WordPress plugin to test its functionality, we noticed that not all of our content is included in the Wordproof certificates.

Specifically, content loaded in through shortcodes (ACF) in the WordPress editor isn’t included. We use shortcodes for a number of visual elements and bullet lists. The certificate only shows the shortcode.

I was hoping there is a way (in the future) to include custom fields. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
