Hi, in the newest version I can’t seem to resize the flash player correctly.
It used to be when I clicked on ‘add a new media file’ there was a space to define the size of the video and/or player (not sure), but now that option does not exist.
There is a place under options:playlist but even when I redefine it there, the player still comes out a different size on my blog.
I’ve been using this plug in for six years and have never had this problem.
I also just recently updated my version of wordpress to the latest version, just in case this somehow has added to my difficulties.
Could you please assist?

I encountered some problem with Wordtube. It was working fine until my client find error message as following: “task queue failed at step 5 playlist could not be loaded: error #1088”. I saw the same issue were raised before and I followed sugestions but it does not work. Please help.

The Path to JW Media Player setting seems to update to one thing and one thing only. It cannot seem to be updated. I set /wrong/path to /correct/path, click on update, and the page refreshes to /wrong/path again. I need to alter the setting since my ISP needed to move their web directory for security reasons. This means I need to change the pathnames. How is this done so that the changes stick?
I would also appreciate it if someone could tell me how to change the path to the “Standard” uploads folder, since the other option appears temporary. Clicking on the radio button to prefer the alternative setting results in both radio buttons being cleared when “update” is pressed.

the sixe of player there – NOT changing…

Has anybody figured out how to show longer titles in the playlist?
I got Wordtube widget in a 300px sidebar.
The titles get truncated (whole word) – real pain in the….
If not, maybe recommend a more modern plugin that does all that WT does?
So far haven′t found a solid replacement.

I am wondering how I can edit the order of videos that are displayed by WordTube. If you check out my page: https://jdrudd.com/videos/
you will see 6 videos at the bottom. I would like to flip the order of these videos. The video on the 2nd row, far right, is the most recent. I would like to have my most recent videos show up at the top of the list. I have tried changing the order of the numbers in the media section of the page editor, but that did nothing.

I recently upgraded to WP 3.3.2 (from 2.7 or so) and Wordtube stopped working.
I tried upgrading the JW Player, changing the player.swf link, changing the syntax of the Video link [media id=18] but still nothing…
The videos won′t show anymore.
What am I doing wrong?

I have installed wordtube on WP version 3.3.2. In using a playlist to display one video followed by two image slides. Only the first file gets played and than it stops, to play another file, I have to click again. Is there anyway to let the whole playlist play without clicking?

I don’t know when it stopped working, because I haven’t put any videos on my website lately, but I suspect that something went wrong with the 3.2.2 version of WordPress.
When I go to the Media->wordtube page, I see the following at the bottom of my screen:

If I’m reading the code properly, the error message is pointing to the “return $post->ID;” line in the get_the_ID function.

]]>Hi, I previously posted a question on this forum 4 months ago about this issue, but had no reply (see: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plugin-wordtube-possible-bug-or-security-issue-access-is-allowed-to-contributors) – I then (stupidly) forgot all about this issue until recently, when a Sucuri SiteCheck scan of our sites found Malware on 3 of the 4 or so sites which are using WordTube, and the security scan also specifically identified WordTube as being the malware/infected files (Note: one site was scanned repeatedly but each time it was found to be clean, which would seem to rule out the possibility of the other results being errors / false-positives…)
I have looked into it further and found that WordTube does indeed allow ANYONE who is a mere subscriber / member on your website to upload files to the server at will via the WordTube dashboard widget …. in addition, this function currently cannot be disabled – I disabled the dashboard widget whilst logged in as admin, but this only disabled it for my own account – upon logging in as a mere member/subscriber I found that the WordTube dashboard widget was still available to subscribers & everyone else etc…. So, I don’t want to be alarmist or jump to conclusions, (and I really love this plugin, it’s great and was perfect for our needs), but it would seem that some of our sites have been infected with malware and it would seem likely that the infection is due to this (severe & highly dangerous) hole in WordTube which allows any subscribers to upload files at will….
I’d like to hear from anyone else if they’ve had the same problem? – Also, anyone wanting to scan their websites in order to see if you have any malware can use the sucuri sitecheck scanner – https://sucuri.net/

I just logged in to one of our sites under different account levels (editor, author, contributor) to test security, and noticed that this plugin is still accessible to “contributors” (I haven’t tried the lowest account level of “subscriber” yet, hopefully it’s not accessible to them too). It’s not a big problem, but a “contributor” doesn’t even have access to the media folder in the back-end, therefore I don’t think that they should be allowed access to this plugin either (this was the only plugin, except one other plugin, which allowed access to contributors).
Hoping this feedback helps and that this bug? / potential security issue? can be plugged soon (I love this plugin btw). Thanks for all your work on this great plugin,

i have several playlists and several players on several pages. none of the videos i have did i add thumbnails to. now the playlist has all the videos in it, but the scroll bar to move the playlist up and down is covered up. not sure if this is a jwplayer issue or wordtube, but any help would be appricicated
