Please can you confirm if this plugin works on PHP 8.1?
We are troubleshooting and issue whereby our chat rooms are just blank.
It seems to have happening after upgrading from PHP 7.4 to 8.1
Thanks!

Inquiry #1 – The div used for the splash image is being cropped AND also is not keeping the 1280 x 720 dimension. To avoid trying to redo the CSS of the layout the shortcode produces, is there anyway I can take JUST the “Watch Live” button and place it in my own div where I have the splash image placed, scaling and keeping it’s dimensions?
Inquiry #2 – I realize this is a wordpress implementation and the settings and functionality are limited compared to the full SDK capabilities. But can you give me a heads up to where I can examine the code to enforce orientationMode? It would be nice if one could make use of these parameters by adding them onto the shortcode ??
ORIENTATION_MODE_ADAPTIVE will work for my testing, but it would be nice to be able to also use ORIENTATION_MODE_FIXED_LANDSCAPE for when I want to use cam inline with text above and below the cam without having the excessive space (I’ll tackle this later).
]]>I downloaded the plugin some time ago and created a channel and it worked correctly. But when trying to create a new channel, it doesn’t work. There is no image or sound from the microphone.

When using my phone’s back camera to broadcast, I noticed the video content is reversed. Is there a way to fix this? The front camera and my computer camera works fine.

Is it possible to improve the screen sharing frame rate?
When we do that in a Youtube video it gets really bad.
]]>I’m pretty sure using your official SDK just about anything is possible.. I was just at your site and documentation, AMAZING work! I did find this post:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/rtmp-broadcast/
but it is over a year old, and was hoping that your plugin implements OBS now.
In regards to using the plugin itself, is it possible to use an OBS Stream as source? Or would I need to spend some time at your documentation + API?

Hello
Does this plugin support one to one video call feature? In installation part of the plugin this is not clear whether one to one video call can be made using plugin.

On the communication channel, is there any possibility to display the registered user names for each video screen?
I tried to add a snipped of code inside the div of id=”screen-users” I got it to work with get_userdata(get_current_user_id()); but it only displays the current user rather than all the user names on each video screen. I know is not the best practice to edit the plugin code but I need the names of the users to appear on each video screen.
Thanks for the help ??

]]>Hi all!
I am trying to change the look and feel of the button icons but I see they are being auto-generated using Font Awesome.
How can I switch my default view to the blue icons that already come with Agora.io in the CSS folder? That folder also has a sample template screenshot.
At the very least, how can I change the mute overlay so it match
Here are screenshots – https://snipboard.io/yThuxQ.jpg

]]>Hi,
I have some problems with the plugin. Sometimes I don’t hear who is in the meeting and other times if I can hear her perfectly, then I don’t know what the problem could be. I have tried with other computers and the same thing keeps happening to me. I don’t know if this could be because I’m in free trial?
I am using macOS and Windows 10.
The camera works well with everyone that connects but the problem is in the audio. for it to work we have to update the page until it works.
What usually happens is that the people who connect do not hear me or I cannot hear them until we update the page several times …
What can this problem be due to?
Thanks
]]>Hello,
I’m wondering if it’s possible while using the broadcast mode in the plugin to “lock in” the aspect ratio of the viewer for the audience to 16:9? The use case is such that we will only ever have one broadcaster and only ever broadcast at 16:9.
Currently, the height remains unchanged for the viewer when shrinking the browser window. I imagine this is to accommodate multiple broadcasters entering the broadcast.
I have tried various manipulations of the code in wp-agora-styles.css starting at line 198 with this comment: /* screen with 1 user */ But I haven’t had any success.
Basically hoping to change the CSS or even some core functions to achieve an experience more like watching Twitch or a YouTube stream.
Thanks for any help or insight,
Donovan
Hi there,
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
For a Broadcast channel with 2 or more hosts, when one of the host turns off their video, a large black square is left. Is it possible to resize the screen so that the other hosts fill the screen?
This worked before with the Communication channel and its old layout in the past (version 1.6 etc)
So if there are 3 hosts and 2 of them hide their videos, the last host should fill the screen. Not 3 square boxes of the same size with 2 black ones.
Thanks so much!
]]>The problem is with a Broadcast channel. When the viewer tries to connect, they get this screen and when they click on “Watch the Live Stream”, nothing happens and it throws this error:
Uncaught ReferenceError: AgoraRTC is not defined

Has anyone seen this error before?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
I know there is a way to generate Agora tokens which make sessions unique.
Is there a way to access this token generation through WordPress and load a unique instance via a URL?
For example, when I schedule a Zoom meeting, a unique url with the token is generated which is sent to the participants.
Right now, anyone who is logged in can access our link to our Agora video chat.
But we want to be able to generate unique instances/sessions such as https://www.our-website.com/agora-video?7693e1963e98997
For example, there is a plugin that allows people to book and pay for appointments and then a unique Zoom link is auto-generated and emailed to them.
Any ideas on how we could approach this with the Agora plugin? Do we need to pass parameters through the URL (i.e. channel id, etc)
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
