I want to back the site up only to Drop-box to save server space. I can’t see if this is possible. Help! I have the pro version for 5 sites and left a ticket on your website a day ago but no response. Thank you.
]]>I have three websites: two in subdirectories, and one in the root. On the root website, I tried to backup “Both Database & Files” selecting not to backup my own user directory (I keep my personal files outside of the wordpress folders), but only the WordPress directories.
The plugin first of all failed to back up the wp-includes directory. I tried again: same result. I then switched it to “Database only” and it generated a blank file. I switched it back to “Both Database & Files” and now it only makes a backup of the Database. No files are backed up at all. I uninstalled, reinstalled and tried it again, and it does the same thing.
I tried a few other backup programs (like X Cloner) and they work fine on that root website. So there is a problem with this plugin.
Also, why are there two years of open tickets on the developers website? Do you not fix any problems with this plugin anymore?
]]>Hello, I bought the premium version, but the backups do not work. whenever I try to back up the files + database, nothing is sent to the dropbox server or google drive, if you just back up the database, it is sent to dropbox but to google drive it does not
]]>Your plugin looks really well developed. It’s a little unclear what I can do with the free version. I’m not technical and want to make certain that I have everything I need to restore my site in case bad stuff happens. Can you please answer these questions?
1) In the free version if run and store a backup for files, and later my site is hacked, or I made a mistake editing a premium or child template and can’t figure out what went wrong, but a good backup file is on my hard drive. Can I run the back-up and restore the site?
2) In the above situation, what situation would cause the free backup not work?
3) If I wanted to migrate to a new domain, or mirror the site, do I install the pro version on the old site, back it up again, and not need the pro version on the new domain?
]]>PRO version seems totally buggy here, unable to even keep settings checked, tabs to go from one setting to the next unresponsive (I could only get to the Schedule Setting a couple fo times by chance on Chrome and not at all on Safari))… The free version that backups database only does works fine. Guess I need to keep hunting for a similar tool.. sad.
]]>The backups work, but they time of backup is displayed UTC rather than my local timezone. Is this normal? Both the server and WordPress are aware that I am UTC-5.
]]>Problem: I did a backup before updating site to 4.6. Unfortunately for me the only plugin that was not compatible was this backup plugin. So my backup before the update is unobtainable. I am using multisite and have deactivated the plugin on the network and the main site however the error message remains. I am concerned that if I delete the plugin I will lose the most recent backup. The plugin dashboard is showing that there is a backup, but when I ask it to download I get a 404 “page does not exist” error.
Error message:

Any hope of getting this resolved, or at least getting the backup to download?
]]>I want to move my site to another server. I created tha backup, but as the help file says – there is no install.php
“2. Download backup file (zip) and Installer file (install.php) from backup listing.”
Hi, I try to connect to my dropbox but when I click the auth button I get a new wp login screen. When I try to login with site credentials nothing happens. Can you please help me with this?

]]>Hello —
I found some issues with the plugin, which I prefer not to post publicly. Is there an email address I could send these issues to?
If I do not receive a response within a reasonable amount of time, I will forward the issues directly to WordPress.
Thank you.
