Hello,
Can someone tell me why this plugin requires WP version 3 or higher and what complication I could expect with current versions of WordPress…
I need to export the image library from a WordPress 2.9 version. Yes, I know it should get updated but it’s not my site so I can’t upgrade it for them.
When I get a default WordPress export from a WordPress 2.9 version everything looks the same, as an export from WordPress 4.3.

xmlns:dc="https://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/"
xmlns:wp="https://www.ads-software.com/export/1.2/"

Just wondering what could cause any trouble ?
Thanks,

“Sorry, there has been an error.
The file does not exist, please try again.”
It’s not able to import the attachments.
Same version of WP, same version of theme. URLs searched and replaced beforehand.

]]>I have 2600+ products I’ve imported into a new website using Wootheme’s product importer. Unfortunately, it did not bring the attachments along with. I’d like to use this plugin to import the attachments, but the Post IDs of the products have changed. Does the attachment import use the <wp:post_parent> id for the import? Will the import work, or will it bollocks things up?

]]>I used this plugin to export the attachment data to an XML file — and it seemed to work as desired.
However, I want to import it into my site *without* downloading and importing the attachments themselves. The reason is that we’d already manually FTP’d the attachment assets to the server at the time of our site revamp. We now would like these assets to be accessible via the media library. Therefore, we need to import the records into the database, but not to add the files to the server.
Thoughts on why this isn’t working if I don’t import the files?
]]>After installation I try to get all attachments, but it returns an empty file after a bit of waiting (like half a minute).
It might be because I’ve got about 10 000 posts and each has at least one attachment… I dunno.
