We have two main issues for now:
Hi, I’ve managed to figure out how to use it in it’s most basic form. However, I can’t get secondary images to show. Also, I’m not sure if I have the ‘Shipping’ and ‘Payments” sections at the footer working properly. Am I right in thinking that these will show when there are bids? (I haven’t had any bids yet).
One other thing is that I think it would be good in the back end to place the start date and end date fields stacked together in order of date.
Just redoing an old site that uses wp auctions. https://abodedomains.com
Not sure what version I have or what is latest version. ANy help appreciated.
Also, when testing old site and placing a bid I am not getting a email notification that a bid was place.
Any help with this would be most appreciated.
Cheers, Jeff

The non pro version of the plugin auto bids on the behalf of the bidder.
1. The starting bid is 100.00 and the increment is 10.00
2. Bidder 1 bids 200.00 the bid is not 200.00 but 110.00 ( i know the pro version removes that feature. )
3. Bidder 2 bids 120.00 and your plugin auto bids for bidder 1 to 130.00 (which is the dumbest thing i’ve ever seen.)
Question: in your pro version can you turn off the auto bid bud leave the increment bid as is?
Hi,
Is there a method to override the template used for the auction shortcode? I’d like to rearrange some of the elements and I can only go so far with CSS.

Hi, there,
first and foremost a huge thank you for providing wp auctions to the world. It is really a blessing for non-profit communnities like us.
Here’s to the task to solve:
I am currently using the FREE version of WP Auction to test it out.
After setting up 7 auctions, from which I previously deleted 2 failed attempts, I am facing issues with adding new auctions.
In the backend I can open “add auction”, but there is no more WYSISWYG-editor, the inserted text is white on white background, the upload button for images doesn’t work anymore, and in the “extra options” section there is no more form and the button “add auction” has vanished.
Do I have any chance to repair the issues? Or is there any limitation to the FREE version, I wasn’t aware of?
Specs to my website:
WordPress – latest version 5.8.2
using “OnAir2”-Theme by Qantum Themes
php-version: 7.4.26
MySQL version: 4.9.7
Steps undertaken: delete and re-install the plugin.
Deactivate theme “OnAir2” and try to use WP Themes Twenty Twenty-One & Twenty Twenty
Thank you very much for your support in advance.

I am running a multisite WordPress configuration with URL like https://
/<subdomain>.
I activated the plugin for one subdomain. I first configured the “Manage” page, then started adding an auction. When I finish this by clicking the “Add Auction” button, I am redirected to a non existing page on the main URL https://
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-auctions-add.
I assume that I instead should stay in my subdomain https://
/<subdomain>/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-auctions-add.
When I return to the subdomain, then the auction has not been created.

Hi there,
We have a market auction setup for our members to create their own Buy Now auctions. Does anyone know how to add the Seller/Subscriber/Owner name/email to the email notifications? The email settings only indicate the host [site_name] email. Is there a keyword for the Subscriber?
I have edited the mail message in the wp_admin.php but would like the subject to include the seller and not just the primary host.
Thank you!
Hello,
The letter ? is showing up as a question mark in my auction.
It shows on the post and other parts of the website, but when I enter it in the auction name and description it shows a question mark.
I purchased WP auctions pro and it works with ? and ? but not with ?.
Help ?? Тhank you in advance
I run a nonprofit of free programs and I holding an art auction fundraiser. I paid for WP Auctions pro and now the mobile menu of my site won’t work. I have deactivated the WP pluginn and it then works again. Reactivate and it doesn’t. A duplicate topic below was never addressed. Please address. We paid for the product. I shouldn’t have to find an alternate plugin.

Hi,
We’re just evaluating your plugin and have three questions as follows:
– Is the only way that auctions can be listed is by using the List Widget Add On?
– Is the only way that the List Widget Add On be made available is by purchasing WordPress Auction Pro?
– If so, what is/are the cost(s) please?
Thanks!

Is it possible to allow users to bid on auction only after they paid previously a bail on the item, 10% according to its price for example?
Hello,
We are in the process of testing the plug-in before rolling out auctions publicly. We’ve put up a test auction, and the notification functions work correctlt with one glitch. The referral linnk, brings the recipitent back to the home page, not the active auction. The Auction is short-code embedded in a WP Page.
The plugin generates this link:
> New bid on your auction.
> Link: https://artandelegance.org?auction_to_show=2
Is it possible to set the pluging to display a small/reduced version of an image instead of the ridiculously small WP thumbnail (125 x 125). Even if I teak the CSS to make the container larger, the plug-in calls the tiny thumbnail. Our audience is older persons, and we’d like to show larger images in the auction display. Note- I’ve bumped up the text deafult size for the same reason.
Curiously – the image on [ https://artandelegance.org/auctions/auctions-autumn-water-print/ ] does pull the full size image, not the WP Thumbail. I can’t figure out why!
Dear Weborithm support,
I bought two plugins from you, wpauction pro and list widget wpauction, and both don’t work. I have tried to fix for weeks and we could not get it them to work. The auction details do not load in the popup window.
We have had two auctions since then and could not use these features. Please feel free to create a new webpage and set up a whole.
I bought wp auction pro on 9 September 2020 and since then we struggled to make it work. Please fix/set it up for us. our website is https://cornerstone.ac.za. I followed your documentation and still not working.
I also bought on 10 September 2020 your list widget for wp auction pro followed your instructions and still not working.
I tried to set them up manually, see below links to all my effort and they don’t work
https://cornerstone.ac.za/auction/
https://cornerstone.ac.za/auctions-list/
https://cornerstone.ac.za/auction-landing/
After giving up on your plugins, I literary had to go back and do this manually, https://cornerstone.ac.za/art-auction-gallery/. Although frustrating it is not doing what I want the wp auctions to claim to do.
These are my emails [email protected] and/or [email protected].
I paid with PayPal, Transaction ID: 80Y82394D67141610
Please fix/set up on https://cornerstone.ac.za is urgently needed.
Thank you.

Half way into creating auctions for a Lego sale I’m having, several auctions suddenly started failing, where when you try to add a bid it simply takes you to a page that says:
“Oops! That page can’t be found.”
I’ve tried resetting my permalinks, but the fact that it happens at the Place Bid stage is weird – the permalink has already been called (the Post that houses the WP Auction), and especially weird because other auctions are behaving fine.
I’ve tried comparing a successful auction with one that fails, and I can’t see any differences in the Auction, the content, the Post or anything.
Help!

I am evaluating your plugin for a fundraiser for a local non-profit organization. Because it is a fundraiser we anticipate that some people may want to be generous and make large bids. However, bids are only increased by the bid increment, which in our case doesn’t make sense. Is there a way to circumvent this so that if someone bids $500 on an item, and the current high bid is only $100, $500 will become the new high bid?
I’m building a test site to eventually launch a real online auction from for our Fall Pledge drive next month.
I’m, therefore, anticipating bidder behaviors and have noticed that when I add a new bid for a substantially higher amount than the currently recommended minimum “Place Your Bid Here
Bid $530.00 or higher” say, if I were to add a new bid for 800.00, the bid increment would only recognize the bid increase of $5.
The only way to get the accurate ‘new’ bid is to refresh the page and form field. This then injects the CORRECT new bid and injects it into the current bid price for the item.
How can I get this to work without forcing a page refresh (I cannot imagine in my life sending out some notification to potential bidders to refresh their page to accurately reflect their ‘real/original’ bid amount…
Also, I can’t seem to get the ‘Bid Now’ button to work from the front-page (which is currently set to most recent posts because the shortcode for the entire auction [wdm_auction_listing] is not working.
So, the only way to get the bid now function to work is either go to the associated auction post OR access the auction item through the AJAX popup window.
Please help!
