The plugin has recently changed its name. As a results, for some reason my wp installation deleted the old one, and the new Master Accordion cannot be activate for an unknown error during plugin activation.
Finally, all my FAQs were lost, don’t know were to retrieve the text I’ve written.

There are more plugins with higher quality, more features and less ad banners

Can’t find ordering of questions, so its based on the date (maybe in Pro?)
Font-sizes are by default very big. May would be better if it uses the default declarations from Theme for h3- and p-tags.

I’m really happy with what this plugin does. It’s small and simple so I did not need to add many styles in my theme to tweak how it looks. I tried a few other faq plugins and they try to do too much. I noticed the premium version has some advanced features which is a nice option but I’m happy with the basic functionality. Well done!

if you are looking for a very useful plugins, thats helps the user to understand your website better, give this plugin a try.

The plugin has a Re-Order feature that does not work for me. To have the only order options ASC or DESC by post ID is short sighted. What if I want to add another FAQ in the future but want to place it in a particular place in the order. I would not recommend this plugin since it has a feature that doesn’t work and little documentation or options.

As far as the FAQ in general is considered, this is the most and simplest FAQ plugin you would ever find. However it lack the a few things, one thing that i wanted was to user permission, since i have contributors and authors but none of them should have access to write FAQ’s only admins that kind of functionality was missing.
rest all thing is in place..

You will pull your hair out trying to find the shortcodes for this plugin. I can never understand that someone takes the time and energy to code a plugin then fails on the simplest part i.e. providing some simple documentation on how the plugin works.. very poor!
]]>Rating: 2 stars
Maybe I didn’t look hard enough, but it was not easy to find out where the documentation for the shortcodes were (to actually add the FAQs to a page). Apart from that major issue, it looked ok.

3 Stars because the visual aspect of the FAQ layout on a page is clunky and not overly attractive.
You can use the categories by modifying the shortcode to:
[faq categoryslug]
Like everyone else said, there’s a distinct lack of basic instructions for this plugin.
You can also remove the notice for the pro version by deleting everything below
/* Display a notice that can be dismissed */
under Plugins > Select ‘Edit’ for WP Awesome FAQ and scroll to the bottom of the index.php.

The plugin is broken (missing images).
Also, you can’t reorder the FAQ items, and you have the ability to have only 1 FAQ

Nice plugin – but the author is not helping in the support section. That makes the usability for me equal to zero.

The main issue with this plugin is that it does not give any hints as to how to actually use it. The only direction is “insert short code [faq]”. Doesn’t help find out where or how to actually create the questions and answers.
After using the plugin for a while a few more annoyances become more pronounced. First, you cannot insert a blank line in the answer of the questions. The finished page removes all of the blank lines as if you only left a space at the end of a sentence. Second, you can’t preview the FAQ your creating, if you click on the preview button it appears that you have made a new page with the question as the title of the page and the answer as the content of the page. (this contributes to the frustration of trying to figure out how to create questions and answers, if you try to preview to see if it’s working you will think your creating a new page on your site)

UPDATE:
For everyone out there who became as frustrated as I that this plugin doesn’t offer any clear instruction, I’ll try to explain clearly how to create actual questions and answers.
1. Install plugin – this is easy, it tells you how.
2. Figure out what page you want your FAQ’s to show up on. For mine I Just created a page and titled it “FAQ”. Edit the page and insert the short code: [faq]
3. (here his how you actually create the questions and answers) Go to your dashboard, after installing the plugin, it automatically created a tab labeled “FAQ”; select “add new”. (This was confusing to me because it brought you to what looks like your creating a whole new page on your site. But don’t worry, you’re not.)
4. Where you would normally put the “page title” you will actually type your question.
5. Where you would normally insert information into the page is where you type your answer.
6. Enter something easy.
7. Open the PAGE that you inserted the short code [faq]. If what you did worked, you’ll see the question and answer.
I hope this helps everyone out there.

This easy-to-use plugin provided the basic functionality that I needed. However every page in the FAQ is supposed to be given a shortcode, and they don’t work in my implementation. It’s not clear how to fix that.

This was very simple to set up but I am having no luck finding any docs on how to customize things like background colors. A little documentation would make this so much better. The generic look needs some highlighting, anyone know how to mod the various sections colors?

Nice, plugin. Great work.
]]>Rating: 3 stars
Go to your installed plugins and click on the edit option of the plugin.
Start Editing wp-awesome-faq/index.php.
Below this line” // Getting FAQs from WordPress Awesome FAQ plugin’s Custom Post Type questions.” you will see the following lines of codes.
$args = array( ‘posts_per_page’ => 5, ‘post_type’ => ‘faq’, ‘order’=>”DESC”);
Now change 5 to 15 or any number you want and change ‘order’=>”DESC” to ‘order’=>”ASC”
All set now.

Simple but just didn’t work as was described. Not sure if it was a conflict with other plugins or something else.
]]>Rating: 2 stars
it shows only 5 faqs and answers.. ?f you want more you must edit codes. It is not support any setup. But if recode this plugin would be good.
]]>Rating: 1 star
No instructions. Looks like there is just a [faq] shortcode with no options i.e. categorie on a page. Pretty useless without that. If there were instructions I would not have wasted time downloading and trying just to find out it does not do what I want.
]]>Rating: 5 stars
Works, had to edit some of the code to make more then 5 posts show, but other then that I like it.
]]>Rating: 4 stars
great plugin and simple although there may be a lack of instructions from the author
would also be great to have the ability to modify the html code surrounding the FAQ without modifying the plugin’s code
and to have options to either include or not the plugin’s default style sheets and scripts.
people like to be free using their own code as opposed to be forced to use something not going along with the rest of the site
beside that awesome work and really useful, thanks for that!

Plugin might be great if you already know how to use it, but if you don’t, the author provides no clues whatsoever. Absolutely nothing. No instructions on how to set up a FAQ.

This plugin is very easy to use and comfortable. It’s simply awesome. But one suggestion if you add color option that will be great. Thanks

This is very simple but awesome for me. I am become very great full with this plugin. Thank you

This plugin is simple to use, the accordion style is very useful.
The only thing I wish for is to remove the background, borders and vertical scrollbar to make the look more clean.
