There is no link to the plugin’s page (https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/wp-banners-lite) from the Plugins Dashboard description (wp-admin/plugins.php). Instead it goes to the author’s page (icprojects.net/wp-banners-lite.html), which does not have a shown link.
I was a little perturbed when I found the potential link is hidden under a “Like or share this page to get free download link!” where you must link it on Twitter, G+, or Facebook before you can get the link (if it comes back here, I’m uncertain.)
I’m fine advertising your plugin, but I will not be *forced* to do so.
This got me to thinking, What does WP say about this?

12. The plugin page (aka the readme.txt file) may not have “sponsored” links on it.
It depends on the interpretation, but I’d call arm-twisting your users to advertise for you might be considered “sponsored links.”
Now then, I had to to deal with that, and I had to google my way here. I was going to post my feedback on how great this plugin is, how I was able to incorporate it into my site with relative ease, and how it tracks the number of displays/clickthroughs in a nice and easy-to-read table, but from a 4-5 star review to 2 stars.

The Plugin itself works properly but i think it lacks a useful configuration concerning the authorization for profiles roles to use it.
