Still great! Hope this plugin is not abandoned?

Doesn’t create its own attachment type, just allows to better administrate the existing wordpress attachments, exactly what I wanted, thanks very much !

Plugin is awesome, exactly what I needed for my project

Excellent plugin.
Full customable.
Developer Oriented.
I just want to comment that the documentation could be a little bit better.
Congrats!

This plug in works as expected- Perfectly!
Well, almost perfectly. After uploading a document, one has to put the required shortcode [wpba-attachment-list] in the post edit window in order to display the attachment on the page view.
To work around this and make sure that attachments show up automatically, except when there are none, I put the following code in the ‘content-single.php’ template:
<?php echo do_shortcode('[wpba-attachment-list open_new_window="true" no_attachments_msg=" "]'); ?>

It works perfect.

This plugin does exactly what it says and does it perfectly. Now off to find the donate button ??

This adds features you will find useful if you use your media library. WP should make parts of this core!

Page attachments now sort in the same order as gallery thumbnails — not by the date they were uploaded. This plugin is the best!

…for making an interface to manage attachments in context. Even works on my non-public custom post type where WordPress’ media manager fails.
]]>Rating: 5 stars
Managing attachments is a weak area of WP. Unless your theme offers attachment management functionalities, this plugin makes things easier and is a huge time-saver.

Seeing attachments on the actual page they are attached to is the only thing that makes sense for non experts. This plugin does that very nicely.

I do not understand why WordPress simply refuses to make attachment handling easier, it is not that tricky!
I really do not understand at all why I cannot “attach” a media file to two post simultaniously – is there any valid reason -> NO!
This solved my problem at once.

It really nice plugin
it resolved my problem.
Thanks.

Very good work. It seamlessly worked with the themes portfolio. This will make it A LOT easier to handle attachments for the build in gallery.
THANK YOU!

This plugin makes it simple for non-expert users to add/remove images from an image slider, and to maintain different sliders on different pages. One caveat is that I had to edit the plugin in order to change some of the flexslider settings and get the sliders to display captions. But once it’s all set up, it’s simple for a non-developer to maintain.

Perfectly meets my requirements for attaching media files to posts.

I was just searching a plugin to attach/unattach files from my posts. It’s simple to find one that works in the media library list view, but I didn’t find any that works in the post edition page “add media” screen.
This one does, and does more than I expected : attachments are displayed in a metabox under tinymce editor, where you are able to write caption, detach file or reorder them by drag’n drop.
I use it to manage images attachments that are displayed as a gallery… Works great for this.
Thanks to the developper !
… Maybe this nice plugin deserves a little update ? Will you continue to ensure compatibility with future wordpress versions ?

Try explaining the concept of “attachments” to your client, and that an image only becomes an attachment if you upload it from the post edit screen and not when you add it from the media library. Or explain them how to re-order the attachments (click “add media”?). Or un-attach an image file (not even possible).
I use this plugin on an e-commerce site, and it makes handling product galleries more user friendly. It also makes my task, of explaining how it all works a whole lot easier. I have never understood why handling attachments from within the WP backend would be so difficult. This plugin solves it all.

The best plugin to attachments images without include in posts

This lets me (and clients!) easily see and control what is attached to each post. It is a real lifesaver for e-commerce. If the user clones similar products using the Duplicate Post plugin, this allows one to easily change out product images. Thank you!

You saved me a lot of work, this just worked for my custom content type and it was so simple to implement. Thanks a lot dude!

Another plugin that I consider core functionality that ought to be included by default, but very thankful someone took the reigns on it. Works FANTASTIC with a JigoShop setup to manage the secondary product images.

Very good plugin… I can’t figure out why it isn’t included into wp by default ??

Remark the full name of this plugin, to not mixup with another one…
This version of many other similar extensions actually do something useful. Easy rename title and captions within the actual post. True un-attach files and most of all:
A really nice intigrated interface, easy and clean. The add attchment button next to Add media button let the customer undererstand the diffrent.
The edit link, on top of the attachment icon, opens the default edit attachment page in modal window. I would like to have this function in default Media library table!
The only thing I missing is the un-attach/ re-attach links to also show up in the Library table in the column “Uploaded to” under the default attached link. But there is another simple plugin for that and I combined them right now. But less plugins is more…
Use this with any list attchment files widget (Not included with this plugin) to create a useful download service or related media connections for views.
There are also many other way you can chain this functionaly with wp setups in cloud service, manage office works and so on.
Thanks for this contribute to the WordPress users.

Does exactly what the core WP ought to be able to do, fast attaching / unattaching of images without Gallery code hassle or the many levels of digging in the Media Library.

This plugin is excellent for editing attached media of a post/page on the editor screen. My favorite part is the ability to unattach a media file without having to completely delete it all together. Excellent Plugin!

Can easy connect a media file, and also unattach
