Could you please add support for recognizing the en dash (–) or –
in addition to hyphens for verse ranges? For example: Phil 4:6–7. This punctuation follows the Chicago Manual of Style for number ranges (also common practice among style manuals), and having the functionality would help with typesetting online texts.
Without this functionality, the current algorithm only recognizes the first verse in the range, stopping before the en dash, rather than interpreting the entire verse range.
Thanks!
]]>Hi James,
Love the plugin. Unfortunately your latest update puts misc. links in places like catch”es 10″ times.
2 letters followed by a number. These just link to a 404 page on Bible Gateway
Hope to see this fixed soon. It is a great plugin but I had to disable it because broken links hurt search engine rankings.
Blessings!
Pastor Duke

]]>I noticed the comment that WP have placed regarding this plugin, that it has not been updated for 2 years. So I have tested it extensively on WP 3.5.1 and can confirm that it works.
