Captcha Booster provokes this message in Site Health Status:

“A PHP session was created by a session_start() function call. This interferes with REST API and loopback requests. The session should be closed by session_write_close() before making any HTTP requests.”

Hi, We just purchased your plugin WP Captcha Booster.

We have issues with the plugin if we select Contact form 7 it is automatically deselecting itself.

Please guide us how to configure for our CF-7 Form.

The catcha is working, but on the custom login form it does not display the text.

It allows the user to type in the value and it works, but the value never displays. It feels like a CSS layering problem? Is there a css solution to this?

The text displays fine on the regular wordpress login form, just not on our customer login form that comes with wpForo plugin.

I selected both “registration form” and “comment form” under “display settings” of this plugin, and initially it worked great. The next day it wasn’t working. I am using Contact Form 7 for the contact form, and AWeber for the subscription form. In other respects the plugin works fine. I would appreciate help with this problem. Thanks!

I am having regular problems with the PRO version. After some time it stops working and showing some random number as the result of the logical question, see this screenshot

When you enter the correct result, it says that the entered Captcha was wrong.

When I deactivate the plugin, then reactivate and delete the cache, it is working again.

What could cause this issue and how can we fix it?

This plugin is not working with plugins that customize the WordPress login page.

One example is this plugin WP Customize Login Page.

The input form/field simply will not accept any digits or answers.

Another plugin that it does not work with is Admin Custom Login plugin….

If you can make it work with such plugins, I will change my review to 5 stars again!

i installed the plugin and activated the checkbox for comment form under ‘ Display Settings ‘.
But the Captcha field is not displayed in the comment form?
I have tested it with the WordPress theme twenty seventeen.

I cannot find anything to help me with using a captcha to prevent bot access to a page.

This is the idea… To help prevent bots scraping phone numbers and email addresses, they would only be shown on a “Contact Us” page that was protected by a captcha modal popup.

When anyone (or any bot) tried to access “Contact Us” a modal form with a captcha (and with customizable text explaining the reason for the captcha) would pop up. If the user successfully completed the captcha the Contact Us page would be shown. If not…no page.

Seems simple, but I cannot find anything that will let me do that.

Is this something that you could add to your plugin?

I’ve edited wp-captcha-booster-en_US.po with poEdit and uploaded both .mo and .po to the server but the modified texts still appear un-translated.

I’ve also tried to add more translation files: es_ES, ca_ES and fr_FR and none seem to apply.

Nice plugin. I am not technical so excuse the newbie question. Will your captcha ONLY work on the default WP registration form? I am using a third party registration/membership plugin “WP Registration Form.” Is it possible to use catpcha on those forms?

I downloaded and installed the WordPress Captcha by Captcha Booster today. It booted me out of my dashboard before I could change the settings, and now I can’t figure out the image to get back in. I need help. So far the letters haven’t changed location, just the red line and asterisks. I don’t know anything about this, but my boss put me on it anyway. I don’t even know what version we’re running. HELP!

Hi, I love captcha booster but I notice some unwanted bugs when used on a wordpress installation that has forms using the plugin Fast Secure Contact Form (A popular form plugin I use on all my sites). I notice that if you have the captcha enabled in a form using Fast Secure Contact Form then when that form is submitted instead of it working, it just shows a blank page with nothing but a captcha image on it.

This is happening on several installations of wordpress I have going now. I installed captcha booster on all my sites cuz I love it but now I have to remove it since it is interferring with the other plugin.

Is there a solution for this?
