I wish this would support scatter charts (chartsjs supports it, so I’m bummed it isn’t included)

Simple and much easier to use than most other chart plugins.

Hi wondering if anyone has had success at more recent WP versions?
I’m cautious as the homepage indicates compatibility to 4.4 only and that’s rather old (fully realizing that this is open code and little maintenance).
I’m at 4.7.5 and we’re at 4.8 public.
I haven’t gotten WP charts to work just yet, not seeing a chart appear so I began to wonder as I trouble shoot. I’m inserting the short code in a page.

Very easy good job my friend

This chart plugin works great and is relatively easy to use. I’ve deployed it on a WordPress website with over 3000 web pages, using this plugin and it still works flawlessly.
I would like to see better support for dynamic data, integration with Gravity Forms and the ability to apply links/styling to the labels and charted areas on the fly.
I know some styling can be done with CSS classes, but being able to call out an area of the chart, as I’m creating the chart would be much more handy.

Version is 0.7.0 – which actually tells us that this plugin isn’t quite ready. It works great and it supports all the features it offers, but there is still a lack of most important features like labels, legends and tooltips.
However, I like this plugin and hopefully it will improved soon.

This is a great plugin and I’ve used this code on a couple hand-coded websites. I’m worried if I should use it due to the lack of updates?

chartjs.org allows us to do something like this:
legendTemplate : "<ul class=\"<%=name.toLowerCase()%>-legend\"><% for (var i=0; i<datasets.length; i++){%><li><span style=\"background-color:<%=datasets[i].fillColor%>\"></span><%if(datasets[i].label){%><%=datasets[i].label%><%}%></li><%}%></ul>"
I’m also concerned about the author’s MIA status. If it isn’t being maintained, will it break with a WP update?, I’m not sure I’ll implement this plugin across my site.
Too bad, I like its functionality.

This is really really amazing things that I want for my site presentations.
5 Star from my side.
Superb experience with WordPress Charts Plugin.
@plugin author. I have some suggestion for you. If you don’t mind then contact me.
Thanks!

No support for it !!!!
No labels “tool-tips” like the original JS library “Charts.js”!!!
so, it misses the most helpful part (support) and misses the most important part (tool-tips)..
Not to mention that there’s no legend boxes

Please implement the new Interactive charts:

Labels for “pie” charts: and yes, it would be… perfect!

1 – Need labels for pie plz
2 – Be careful
The Chart works but get this error if you don’t fill fields in the widget
Firebug :
SyntaxError: syntax error

I like this pluggin. It works well with WP 4.0 so far. If a 2- pages doc was created with all shortcode details, it would be perfect. I hope you continue working on this.`

I had been looking for a plugin that would plot graphs based on php variables. This gets the job done. I love the animation that comes with it.
Only thing I would like to suggest is to have more documentation about how to change the font size etc on the X and Y axis. I mean I will find it somehow but it would be good to have it in one place like a user manual

Sure, it might be complicated, but the complication is necessary to create cool, dynamic charts. If you don’t want complicated, there are easier plugins that give very limited abilities.

WP Charts is exactly what I was looking for. D3 was way overkill and wp charts was just right. Thank you for maintaining this plug-in

This is a great plugin, freeing the privacy-aware from using Google Charts API or other such services.
But a missing feature that is really is labels! A pie chart without labels is really not very helpful. Thats why at the moment it cannot be 5 stars. But if that would be added this would be a very handy plugin.
Thanks for creating it!!

<strong>Distance (Miles Jogged)</strong>
I am trying to add 2 graphs to the same page, and cant see it get the content in <strong>
to go to the next line. I have tried to separate the graphs and their titles with a <p>, <hr>, <div>
and none split them.
Is there a way to add a legend to identify graphs with multi colors?
Thank you!

It’s a good plugin for charts and a lot easier to use than some more advanced libraries. A good next step would be possibility to create charts through an interface. Some sizing kinks could use ironing out, it was a bit tricky to get the chart to show up in right proportions. But overall I love it. Thanks a lot for the good work!

This plugin is great, I’ve been wanting to use these charts on my site for a while and you saved me a lot of time and hastle with this. Thanks ??

I found this plugin to be extremely easy to use and integrate into one of my sites. It’s a great way to display numerical information, and I look forward to the release of the next version!

This plugin saved me a lot of trouble.
It does exactly what you expect it to: Creates chart in you page without you having to think about anything but the data.
Bonus: It’s HTML, not images ??

So many plug-in authors doesn’t care explain to the ordinary user how to use their plug in. No examples of shortcodes is such an example or just surmising that the user has a lot of knowledge about the workings of WP beforehand. Not so this developer. He understands that not everyone is a programmer or has knowledge of the WP API. And so he takes time to explain to us mere mortals how his plug i works step-by-step. Hats off for that.

The charts are beautiful and elegant, and the shortcode is straightforward and easy to use. AND the charts are responsive. What more could you ask for?
