It caused my site to wait 1 min before serving requests.
Disabling the plugin and updating to a new version solved the problem, so I think it was just a bug.
Otherwise it seems to be a nice and useful plugin.

As soon as I deactivated this plugin, the website was running normally. Before that it was taking 2-4 minutes to navigate on the WP dashboard.
It was probably a bug that was fixed but I don’t want to take any other chances with this plugin.
