***BEWARE BUYERS*** We have experienced poor communication and no response when contacting WP-CRM system several times. We cancelled the product within 30 days and never received a refund after several attempts (we have screenshots of our refund request). Keep screenshots of all messages sent to the WP-CRM as you will not receive a copy of your message or acknowledgment or support ticket number. Also be aware that after 1 year you will be notified that your Credit card will be billed again irrespective of cancelling your subscription. We will send a rating once a day until we get a response from WP-CRM systems. Not optimistic that I will hear anything back but lets wait and see.

Absolutely phenomenal customer support. I’ve been using this plugin to set up a CRM system for a client of mine and I’ve been blown away by the amount of personalised customer support.
I’ve used a lot of plugins in my time and none of the developers have had the attention to detail, care, and general dedication to ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
Really friendly team and nothing was too much trouble.
I really can’t recommend enough, if you’re thinking twice about buying this plugin, just do it, you won’t regret it.
Thanks so much Scott & the WP-CRM System team!

If I could give these guys 6 stars I would! They customer support is so prompt and helpful. They always respond within 24 hours, most of the time within 4 hours. I’ve had to email them 3 times and they’ve been incredibly helpful each time. They’ve provided code examples for me to basically help me do exactly what I asked them for.
The software itself is very easy to use and fairly easy to customize. I’ve had to do some custom coding to white label the software for my clients… It’s so nice to be able to do this and really make the software my own.
I have customized this software for my client and they basically run their entire organization off of it. Thats amazing that a WordPress Plugin can operate a million dollar business.
WP CRM is well worth the price. Thank you so much for the support and help you’ve provided along with a great plugin!
Sincerely,
Satisfied Customer

Good evening,
I’m willing to buy the package. I have a doubt though:
from “screen options”, is it possible to insert columns related to custom fields created with “Custom Field”?
Thank you

This a fantastic plugin with very good support. I was able to setup a membership database for a club website with over 500 individual organisations and thousands of member contacts.
There were some minor features lacking that I required, however when I mentioned these suggestions to the plugin developer he responded extremely quickly and released an update which included these custom feature suggestions.
Thanks again.

Exactly the lightweight CRM tool I was looking for.
Intuitive enough for me to jump right in and create a contacts database.
It would be handy to be able to enter social media usernames for contacts, facebook page urls (not just website) and additional email addresses.

I am very impressed with the “WP CRM System” plugin. I have spent months, literally months, trying to code for myself a plugin that will do what this one does. It works out of the box. It has all the logic built in, to associate the various Custom Post Types with each other. It is well-coded and does not clutter up the database with unnecessary tables. I read some of the other reviews and I thought they were unnecessarily critical. If you want to add more fields to the contact record, just click “Screen Options” from the top of the screen, and select the “Custom Fields” checkbox. This functionality is built into WordPress, the plugin does not have to offer it separately. [correction: I see now that the plugin removes this default behavior.] In another review, someone criticized the way this plugin is coded, and I can’t figure out why. This plugin is written in tidy procedural code that uses action hooks in the proper WordPress manner. Extending a plugin is always very difficult; but if you aren’t familiar with writing plugin extensions, that’s not a good reason to diss on the plugin itself. Finally, someone called the optional paid extensions “nickel and diming.” It looks to me like the optional extensions are optional, and the completely free plugin works just fine without them. The optional extensions do look like they provide useful additional features; and if you want to get fancy, it’s reasonable to support the developer and buy the optional extensions. This plugin is NOT bloated with nags and alerts as so many other plugins are. This plugin offers a fully functional system, completely for free. It is not a demo. It does not require a subscription to some other service. You don’t have to pay for an upgrade to make it work. The data is stored on your own server, where you have complete control over it. Some future feature requests might include integrated data capture from front-end contact forms and/or WooCommerce sales in real time; and a component-based estimate generating system that’s as robust as the built-in project management system currently is. But those are feature requests; not criticisms. I think this plugin is excellent. I would highly recommend this plugin to sales-driven organizations; especially companies that generate estimates, convert those estimates into projects, break those projects into tasks, and assign those tasks to specific users. Five stars!

They went above and beyond solving a problem that wasn’t even the fault of their software. I could not be more satisfied.

Best CRM system for WordPress as far as I can see. And the support is amazing.

Not ready to actually attempt to use this plugin. I’ve got extensive experience with small, medium and enterprise level CRM’s. I understand these folks need to make money. But, to split out every bit of needed, though rated as advanced, or extended, functionality, and charge on a “per piece” basis is not something I find acceptable. I do not mind paying for CRM, and know it’s a good hit. But, I want all of it under a single roof, so I can see how the system works, all together, without getting nickel and dimed. Give me a break. You have to pay to add fields under the system. That is ridiculous. Any good CRM comes off the shelf with a full ability to add, and modify fields, with a whole variety of types available. They would be better off, just going rogue, and charging what they think it’s worth, with a short term sample. Getting you hooked, then popping you with an “extension fee” for basic functionality is a barrier.

There is still room for improvement in the meta-box layout of custom fields, I also feel that some of the fields are redundant, for example, an organisation has a number of contacts associated with it.
A project should either be associated with a single contact for a single organisation, but not both.
A task is associated with a project and does not require to have an organisation or a contact associated with it, the project should define all of these automatically.
The implementation of the code follows WP stds, making it very easy to build on and change and augment its functionality, so a lot of potential for this plugin.

While the plugin seems usable, if you are using default WordPress roles and capabilities in your website, if you are using good role practices, which means that you have custom roles and custom capabilities, this plugin will not work. For example, let’s say that you have sales people who are users of your site and have the role of the site of “sales_person”, well, ideally, users with the sales_person role should be able to use this system, and this system would not be available to other roles. This is just not the case with this plugin, which makes it not a true CRM system.
It wouldn’t be so bad if the author knew about filters and hooks and applied them in the plugin to allow other developers to expand upon the functionality. Instead, you are locked into buying the add-ons that the author has created, thus locking down the plugin into a proprietary mess. Any options there are, are turned into hard-coded global variables, which is a very janky way to do it, in my opinion, when WordPress has the core functionality to allow for options to be saved and called from the database.
This plugin is almost there, but don’t expect it to do what you think it will do, if you are looking for a true CRM system.

Whether you’re a small business with a handful of employees or a larger organization with lots of active projects, this system will help keep your team on track so you don’t miss another deadline.
