Hello, is there any good alternative for this Plugin? I really like this plugin and its features but it’s not compatible with WooCommerce anymore. And i want that the post types will be posted in different discord channels.
It’s a shame that the developer no longer responds and there are no updates anymore ??

Posts are not being pushed to Discord if they are published in Quick Edit mode, by selecting several posts.
I’ve had the same issue with Telegram and it’s been solved by adding
add_filter( 'wptelegram_p2tg_current_user_has_permission', '__return_true' );
add_filter( 'wptelegram_p2tg_send_if_quick_edit', '__return_true' );
add_filter( 'wptelegram_p2tg_send_if_bulk_edit', '__return_true' );
in functions.php

Anyway to set at what instance it should push to discord? Like when product status is set to published only?

Before I built my website the “Hello Word” post from WordPress was created and now since the website is online it is EXACTLY this post that was indexed by Google with my website! So the first thing visitors of my website see is this “Hello World” post with nothing else in it.
I didn′t even know that this site still exists, just found out because of Google′s index and now I have been trying to delete / edit it for about 2 hours, but to no avail. I found out I cannot delete this. So I changed the category and this specific link should not exist anymore, but it still does. I no-indexed it in RankMath, but Google still indexes it, a category and a post that don′t exist anymore, but they do – if you understand what I mean. Google shows this “Hello world” site with the /category/uncategorized.
And the most “fun” part: The website link I provided here with this support request redirects to my website correctly, but the link on Google opens up this “Hello World” post to /category/uncategorized, also after clearing the cache.
How can I get rid of this “Hello World”, please? I deleted the post, the category I cannot delete. I changed the name of the category to “welcome” and posted “please click the menu above to get to website”, but it does not do what I tell it to. It shows “hello world.”
Visitors think my website does not exist or work and I lose customers.

I know the plugin author isn’t responding here anymore, but wondering if anyone else can help. The GitHub changelog for this mentions the 2.0.0 update as being able to specify separate Channels for different custom post types, but I don’t see any options related to that. Even adding the support for the post types in functions.php as the doc suggests doesn’t show any new options. All I see are options for General and Posts.
Custom post types are actually being posted in a Discord channel specified but I can only do 1 channel obviously. I want to post in a separate channel for each post type. Anyone have any ideas? Do you need to add some more code to get that working? Thanks.

]]>Hey, is there any chance you could create a feature where when CF7 are submitted and appear on Discord, you could select which roles are notified. At the moment, only posts notify the @everyone role, but it would be better if contact forms can do something similar, maybe even allow admins to decide which roles are pinged instead of @everyone.
]]>Hello, I see that there is no currently support for the plugin. However as I need its functions a lot, I am asking for assistance. The problem is that the plugin posts only once in discord then stops. I need to go back to its settings, uncheck Write in Discord when a new WooCommerce product is published, then check it back again, save settings and it works for another post. After that I need to do the same thing after every single new product. Can someone give me a hand?

]]>I haven’t figured out a pattern. Sometimes the bot adds my new posts, but more often it doesn’t. I haven’t changed any settings on the bot or in Discord. I updated wordpress recently, but I’m not sure why the bot would only work intermittently if that was the case.

Whenever I post a link on discord, such as GameHandout.com it shows up with:

and that’s it. It doesn’t show the meta deta/tagline such as “Top tier games, free!” or the main image of the webiste or anything. Just that text and nothing else.

Pretty much self-explanatory. My website’s icon is not showing on any of the posts being sent to Discord. Instead of using my icon’s URL, it uses a Discord link that doesn’t work (https://images-ext-2.discordapp.net/external/r2Npcftm1ic5aLDlvUcn0WKmxcJDYtU8zcw6mjyaP1M/https/ecchinyaa.org/wp-content/uploads/en_ico_2017.png) in its place.
I tried fiddling with class-wp-discord-post-formatting.php, to no avail. Here’s what I’ve done to try to make it work:

To be complete, I think a role synchronisation is a good idea to automatically put some rights on a group on the Discord.
And an Auth too (like facebook login but with discord)
Some exemples:
Author (wordpress) – choose to synch with-> Author group (Discord)
Moderator (wordpress) – choose to synch with -> Member group (Discord)
