Hello, is it possible to display the thumbnail if the page or post is password protected? I would like to forward the password-protected pages to customers, but then it does not show the thumbnail of the post, but my logo. I would like to personalize it for the customer.
Thanks in advance.
]]>I’ve just installed and setup this plugin in a WP website. But after putting the social links all links are showing as “URL” (icon-wpass-url). I’ve used “Avada Premium” theme. I’ve also tested it deactivating all kind of caching plugins. In the DEMO site (https://wpthemespace.com/wp-edit-password-protected/) I can see the “Facebook” icon has the same issue. Can you please check and fix asap in the next version release?
]]>Great plugin…
Can you give me the CSS to change the button color?
I’ve tried a few ways but it changes all of my site buttons.
I only want to change my Password Protected button.
Thanks!
Hello. Thank for the plugin. I have a page on my website that is protected and I’m updating the site to use WordPress 6..4.1 with the 2024 Block theme. I would like to use your plugin to change the message on the password protected page, and also add a MailerLite email sign-up form which is how the user will receive the password. Can you tell me how I can embed the form on that message page? Right now, if I just try to use the block Editor to add the form, the page that opens up is the page that is accessible after entering the password.
]]>Hello,
Im trying to use your plugin but when i try to activate it, im getting the following fatal error:

]]>Hi! Love this Plugin! It fits very good on my page.
I just found out, that i can set a Password longer then 20 Characters but only type a maximum of 20 Characters in the Field.
Is it possible to set a Password that is longer then 20 Characters long?
]]>All pages Go To the login page even the Registration page and I have 2 short codes but are there any other short codes for the following pages?
Ultimate Member Registration page

Ultimate Member User page
[ultimatemember form_id=”13058″]
Financing for Power Plant Projects (LOGIN PAGE)
Ultimate Member – Account page
Ultimate Member – Members page
Ultimate Member – Logout page
Ultimate Member – Password Reset page
3 The “Membership – Anyone can register” option on the general settings page is enabled. This means users can register via the standard WordPress wp-login.php page. If you do not want users to be able to register via this page and only register via the Ultimate Member registration form, you should deactivate this option. You can dismiss this notice if you wish to keep the wp-login.php registration page open.
]]>Sorry but how does one register to get a user name and password? Does the Admin do this and then send it to the client? What’s the process please? If the user name and password is just part of WordPress then anyone can register. Right? So I’m assuming the Admin needs to do this but this should not related to the normal WordPress user name and password. Right?
]]>Hiya
I am using your plugin and since activating it, every page of my Website has added top padding above the content.
Is there a way to clear this? I wouldnt want to do it manually on a page number of pages.
thanks for your support
]]>Having the same issue that user birgittetuepker reported. I’m not running divi, and when i hide wpppass in css, i lose all of the password entry fields. So my choices are to have three or have zero.
I have the same issue! The password area shows up three times and messed up the header. There is one area above the top menu, one in the middle and one below the footer.
When I open the theme customizer, all is fine. It’s only on the frontend.
I deactivated all plugins but nothing changed.

]]>Hi, I am facing an issue with the latest version 1.2.2 of Wp Edit Password Protected.
Once I try to go to the password page the page is blank.
I use elementor and elementor pro (hello theme).
I deactivated all other plugins but the password page is still blank.
Version 1.2.1 worked perfectly!
Is there any way to go back to version 1.2.1?
It would be grate if you could add a page background color option to a future version!
]]>
Since update the plugin dosn’t work.
After de-install and re-instal I can’t activate the plugin.
This is the error message:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘Kirki\Panel’ not found in ../wp-content/plugins/wp-edit-password-protected/admin/kirki/password-protect-settings.php:81 Stack trace: #0 ../wp-content/plugins/wp-edit-password-protected/wp-edit-password-protected.php(123): require_once() #1 ../wp-content/plugins/wp-edit-password-protected/admin/kirki/password-protect-settings.php on line 81
Any idea?
Can you provide me the old version please?
Best Regards
]]>Hi there,
like your plugin but would like it even better if I could center the button. Do I miss something?
]]>Hello and thanks for writing this plugin. However, it is not very useful without the ability to show an error message when a user enters an incorrect password.
Would love to test it again if you can add this feature. Lots of people need the the capability to have an error message, and some, like myself, have had to resort to adding PHP functions to show password error messages… and that method does not always work.
Hope you will consider this suggestion.
Best,
Chris
Hello,
I would like to inform you that there is an alignment problem with elementor’s checkbox (elementor Form widget) when Wp Edit Password Protected is activated.
When I deactivate the Wp Edit Password Protected plugin there is no alignment problem.
I use elementor pro and Hello theme.

]]>Adding Appsero for this plugin and click-to-top
has caused sites to fatal.
https://plugins.trac.www.ads-software.com/changeset/2497044
https://plugins.trac.www.ads-software.com/changeset/2494177
This is because when adding it you have the require
statement reading as:
if ( ! class_exists( 'Appsero\Client' ) ) {
require_once __DIR__ . '/appsero/src/Client.php';
}
however the path to the appsero client should actually be
require_once __DIR__ . '/vendor/appsero/client/src/Client.php';
You’re trying to require a file that doesn’t exist, so the site dies.
]]>Hi,
nice plugin, thanks. But one serious problem which may worsten the use very significantly. Maybe it is connected with the cashing of my page? I am not sure. But when I hit “Send” button with my password correctly filled in the box, not much happened. Usually I am not redirected to the protected content page. I have to press ctrl or even ctrl+F5 to refresh the page to see the content. I now that already but a new user thinks he filled a wrong password and leave the page. Please, can you fix this?
Thanks, Filip
How do i password protect individual post on my site? At the moment it only seems to have the option for pages.
]]>Is there a way to reduce the width of the button to the width of its text?
Thanks in advance.
]]>Whatever I put in the relevant field in settings, the button still displays “Submit”.
Thanks for a solution.
]]>I just used your plugin and it worked perfectly fine. It somehow it affected the design of my website. Now it has a white space on top on all pages(expect homepage), above the header navigation bar. But only on desktop view. How can I fix this?
]]>I downloaded this plugin, watched the video and scanned the documentation and it just doesn’t work for me. I can’t change the page template to be “Members Only” because then my page template breaks. I cannot create a password protected page and then have the user redirected to the proper page, because there doesn’t look to be a way to do that.
Maybe I’m missing something, but this plugin just didn’t work the way I hoped.
]]>Hello,
Can this plugin be used on Posts/Custom Post Types? I’d like to have our staff log in to see the posts information. I only see the “Members Only” Template is for pages.
]]>Fix your demo page or remove the linke?!
]]>Hello, Nice plug-in
When changed messages, submit button text also change to WP default that is not expect as it is already translated.
Do you think you can fix it?
