Good plugin, but why it has not been updated for quite a long time?

]]>I am using WP 4 something. Last 4. I decided to change a bit of fonts today and use WPEdit. SOME pages show the font in pts, some show the font as small, medium, etc. I porefer the small, etc. How can I make that change globally?
Also some pages show fonts NOT in the drop down list for font choices. How can I edit that list?

Complete silence for more than half a year.
Since the last update of WP Edit, double-click on a paragraph selects the paragraph, but when I drag to succeeding (or preceding) paragraphs, they are not selected.
Will this bug be fixed in upcoming versions? How can I revert to the previous version of WP Edit until a fix is ready?

]]>Big concern WP edit not being updated to reflect new wordpress 5 and onwards. This WP edit plugin now causing me issues on my Avada theme missing its own short code icon. Since updating to new WP 5 and onwards to 5.1 etc with Avada theme latest I now have this missing short code icon that was always there with WP edit…
Hence seems WP edit not working with wordpress 5 new major release etc as others have said too here and Avada theme any longer the way it behaves with it now.
***Steps taken **** Tried deactivating WP edit still no icon even deleted it on another Avada site where I only have the WP edit plugin. No idea how to get my Avada theme icon short code back either!
Anyone know? Josh seems to no longer even reply to people.

When are you planning to update your plugin to work with WP 5.1?
I’m testing my site in WP 5.1 in a staging environment with the Classic Editor plugin enabled (don’t want Gutenberg yet).
I have seen posts saying that Classic Editor has all the editing options and functions of WP Edit, Tiny and all other editing plugins out there, and so those plugins are no longer needed.
That’s not true.
When I have WP Edit enabled – I can see all its editing functions in the CLssic Editor. However the moment I deactivate WP Edit – my Classic Editor’s editing options are cut by more than half – they don’t even include the font type and size!
So WP Edit is necessary in WP 5.1 in the Classic Editor option.
It seems to be working ok in my staging environment – but could you please confirm that it does and will, and if not – when will you issue an update.

]]>I love the extra features that I can get i the classic editor with WP Edit.
Until now WP edit also wordked with the great Page Builder Elementor … BUT now there is a conflict and I had to deactive WP Editor to make Elementor Work.
So sad …. I really hope there is a fix for this OR an alternative to WP Edit that works with Elementor

Classic editior : version 1.4
Elementor : version 2.4.6
Elementor Pro : version 2.4.4
Wp Edit : version 4.0.4
We never thought about this until we went to edit images on some pages and the Custom Size option was not under edit image settings.
Tried switching to the Classic Editor plugin and turning off the Disable Gutenberg one and that seems to make it reappear. I believe the Disable Gutenberg has more selection however (you can select pages to test out the Gutenberg.)
Is the plugin every likely to ‘play nice’ with the “Disable Gutenberg? It seems a weird way to tell us it has a conflict.

This was all good until I updated WP Edit. If I now load that same post to edit it in WordPress, WP Edit removes all page breaks. So the part of </p>\n<p> is gone. I obviously don’t click on save as to not corrupt the data in my database. But that way I can’t edit my posts anymore.
Please please help, this is a huge problem for me. What can I do so that WP Edit loads the content of existing posts correctly?

Looking it up seems like Anonymous functions were not supported till PHP v5.3.
Will push host to upgrade version, hopefully this will solve it; however wanted to note this in case others hit the problem.
Seems like the very code described in the readme is the one causing the problem; at least for pre-PHP5.3.
On other hosts the upgrade worked well.

I mentioned here a while ago that there looked to be an incompatibility with PHP 7.1 and 7.2. (7.0 seems ok) Sorry that I haven’t been able to let you know of the details until now.
The page/post editor gets messed up if you activate Google fonts and choose a font. If you activate Google fonts but don’t choose a font, things seem ok.
The other thing I noticed is that if you save a setting in the User tab, it doesn’t work… Shows a bunch of errors if you turn Debug on.
Hope these can be addressed soon!

Please, consider updating the hook. I believe it is the reason why debug log on one of our websites is populated with warnings about stylesheet being enquequed too early…
EDITED: Warnings seem to be triggered from another plugin.
