Is it really the case that your free version don’t have a calendar view … if so what is the use then?

We would like to duplicate a past event in the frontend and use it as a template for a new event.
Is that possible?

Or is it possible to add events as drafts first?
Currently I can only directly post it but that’s not very handy with a lot of events.

I want to add time zone ‘IST’ to the listing and display it like ’11-12-2024 @8:00PM to 9:00PM IST’

however, i don’t see the IST timezone in the drop down. can i have code snippet that i can i add to function.php in my child theme? if this is decided by the city, i don’t see the city I want (Karnataka/India)

Also, In lone event option Yes/No option is there another option i can add like ‘Others’ or add a field if selected online so that we can add the url of the online link?

I’m having trouble moving posts to new dates using the drag-and-drop calendar. I can see the calendar view, but when I try to drag a post, it doesn’t move. Could you let me know if I need any specific settings for this?

Hello, I have a couple of questions after setting up my first event:

1. Is it possible to disable or hide the “Share with your friends” section including icons for the different websites (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)? It’s displaying weird on my site and I would just like it to be removed all together.
2. When creating a new event listing, it does not give me the option to select an event type. How come? I have it enabled in the fields and I have added my two event types (market & pop-up).
3. Is it possible to hide/remove the category filter from the events page? I will just be using event types and would like to clean up that page if possible.

I am having a problem when trying to submit an event and this consist in Organizers not showing when selected and then previewing or submitting the event, the user who creates the event is showing instead, I thought it was a general problem but in your demo is working fine, I would appreciate the help since this is kinda urgent.

Hi! I’ve created an Elementor page with upcoming and past events widget. I have 2 events published that ended a few days ago, and the listing expiry date is only next year. Both do not appear in the expired events listing/ They used to show correctly but stopped for some reason. What could be the problem?

Many of the elements on the admin setting and pages are showing the wrong language. I cannot seem to fix this. Please help. My website language is set to English (UK)

Is there a way to add a column to display the user that created each event on the backend All Events page? Its would be helpful to know who created each event.

Is there a shortcode that will add the Venue to the event listing page?
I’m currently use this code but can’t seem to get the venue to display.

When I enter the end date using the frontend post an event page it saves as the wrong date.
I am picking the date from the date picker box as 10-20-24 and it appears correctly in the field.
But when I submit/save the event it changes it to 01-01-1970

When I go to my dashboard event at the frontend, it shows all the events I have published. But when I want to edit an event from the fontend and click on the pencil, then the page shows no information. So I can’t edit my events from the frontend, only from the backend. What can I do about it?

There are no fields to enter a venue address. I am planning on purchasing the paid version which will include Google Maps. Will that add fields for venue address?
Or do I have to add fields for address on the Field Editor page.

hello folks,

we use the event manager plugin including the event calendar on our website. We once created an overview with the shortcode ‘events’ and we want all expired events to be hidden. This also works if we set a value for the expiry date in the backend.

But we still want the expired events to be displayed in the calendar (shortcode – events_calendar) – but they are not!

Is there a possibility here? Thanks in advance

Widget Setting doesn’t respect Language Visibility with Elementor & Polylang

In my local dev setup i test the latest versions:

• WP 6.6.2
• WP Event Manager 3.1.45.1
• Elementor 3.24.6
• Connect Polylang for Elementor 2.4.5
• Polylang 3.6.4

The site is multilingual with Polylang (2 languages). As the artist does not want to maintain different language entries for her events, i have set up the Elementor widget “Event Listing” with the advanced Setting “Language Visibility” and activated the setting, along with “Show if… language is” and selected all languages.

While this is correctly displayed in the Elementor Edit screen (https://postimg.cc/xk1QPDX8) it is not respected when actually viewing the page (https://postimg.cc/NLJdyhcb). Note that the widget correctly displays events in the current language.

Hello! I’m maintaining a website that uses WP Event Manager and when I update the plugin to 3.1.45 the site goes into criticial error mode with the page that has this plugin on it. The website uses Elementor and Elementor Pro (current versions). WordPress has the latest version installed and so I needed to downgrade back to 3.1.44 and that loads the page. I couldn’t update the wp-config.php file to display the error to find out what was causing the issue. I looked in the log and found these:

I tried reverting Elementor and Elementor Pro back to their previous versions but that didn’t matter. The only thing that got the page loading again was to revert to 3.1.44. Looks like some sort of a conflict with the elementor event listing? The page is using the Event Listing widget.

Since today my shortcode isn’t working correct. I want my events to order by start date and used this shortcode:

In the part under the ‘?oming up’ events, I have another block with ‘Just confirmed’events, herefor I use the shortcode below, which also isn’t working correctly anymore.

Is there a bug or anything?

I have 12 events for a specific show. 8 in the future and 4 in the past.
With the future :

It’s ok !

But for the 4 events in the past : [past_events keywords=”imaginaire”]
The 4 are not displayed and the message “There is no event” is visible.
Is there a bug ?

1) Only a list (not the box view)
2) A very simple list like a ul list with bullets and with the title of the event and the event dates between parenthesis.

In order to Post an Event with the Event Manager Plugin the User needs to be ‘Logged in.’ I have multiple User roles defined. When someone is logged in with the Subscriber Role or Administrator Role they can post Events. However, other User roles such as Club (with same permissions/capabilities as Subscriber) is logged in they are unable to Post Events using Event Manager. How come? If I add Subscriber Role to the Club role people, they can then Post. However, I’d like to have both User login types and to be able to limit capabilities so only Club Logins and not Subscriber Logins can Post Events.
