I deaktived and deleted the “WP Evernote Site” plugin – but above my postings I stell find the Words “Evernote not found”.
In which script I should have a peek?
Thank you for hints!
Herbert
As the subject says: Site Memory [Deprecated]
Switch to the Evernote Web Clipper from evernote’s website.
Is this plugin dead and gone? – or will it be updated to the never functions that Evernote has rolled out?
Thanks…
Kind regards
Daniel

hello.
i’m finding that, even though i’ve selected ‘yes’ to include the provider’s name in the title of the clipped article, the plugin is not pulling in the provider’s name, and is not even using the page name (is it supposed to, the way that evernote browser extension does?) … it is simply using the title of the article as the title of the evernote.
is there an extra step i need to take in order for my provider name to be included or is that just a bug?
thanks.

I have another question that I wanted to ask. In the settings of this plugin, there is a box for one’s “affiliate code”. Beneath the box is this note:
“The Evernote Affiliate Program is designed to reward developers and publishers for referring new users to Evernote.
For more information, please visit Evernote’s website.”
When I have followed the link given to Evernote’s website, I get a “Page Not Found”. I don’t see anything on the Evernote site about an affiliate program. When I contacted them, I was referred back to the plugin’s author.
Is there an Evernote affiliate program?

Hi! I was wondering if you could give us the added functionality of choosing which pages to display the Evernote icon on in our blogs. In particular, I have an “About” page set up that I don’t want the Evernote icon showing up on. If anyone could help me out with a temporary fix for now, that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

After installing the latest version, I had occasion to make a Google Search using the Google Search box installed on my site. Search results came back that there was a fatal error in WP Evernote Site Memory. Disabling the plugin rectified the error.

I’ve just installed the WP Evernote Site Memory plugin, and I like what I see so far.
However, in my current theme the clip button is showing up with an ugly border around it. I could tweak my CSS to disable the border for that element, but since the Site Memory anchor & image do not have a CSS class or id, it’s pretty hard to write an appropriate selector…
So I guess my request is that, in a future version, could you assign a CSS class or id for the clip button so we could style it appropriately? Thanks!

Hello,
I’ve tried installing the plugin for Evernote Site Memory and the image appears on the posts, but nothing happens when I click on it. The footer tag is being called by my theme, but I’m not sure where the problem is. I’ll leave the plugin activated for a bit in case you have the time to check the site and see if you can locate a problem. I have many plugins activated, but unfortunately I can’t really disable any of them to use this plugin.
My site is https://www.Hustedia.com
Thank you advance for any assistance.

Using WP 3.01. I have tried disabling every single plugin and even tried changing the theme to the default theme and a few others. I have tried Safari and Firefox browsers. The Icon for this plugin, when clicked, goes nowhere. Nothing pops up.
When I go to other blogs that have this (including the creator’s example) it works fine. Just not with my blog. Quite frustrating. Tried a lot of things all no go.
There is suppose to be an admin tab for adding affiliate info. I am either not looking in the right place or the download/install did not work correctly. I have downloaded through WP and installed automatically and I have uploaded the zip file and installed and neither give me admin capabilities.
Mixed results so far. IE does not work at all, Firefox not too bad and Chrome seems ok.
This has real potential so going to stick with it and fingers crossed!
Is there support or instructions available anywhere for repositioning the icon? I want to have it appear next to my other share widget, which I want at the top of the posts, not the bottom.

Hi,
everything works fine on https://blog.burg.cx except I thought it’s possible to clip the content of an entire post. Right now it captures only the title. I also tried the showcase implementations: only the title gets captured.
I’m on Safari/Mac
Did I miss something?

Thanks for developing this plugin. I’m really excited about it, even though it’s not working for me.
My site is https://blog.lobrecht.com/rick/
I tried some of the troubleshooting that you mentioned in the other threads. I disabled all the other plugins, but it still doesn’t work. I ran my site through the validator, and there are a few errors, but they all seem to be complaints about deprecated tags that I should switch to CSS.
I looked at my page source, and it does have

right before the closing body tag. It only appears to be there once. If I try to load https://static.evernote.com/noteit.js straight in the browser, I get an Access Denied message. Is there something I have to do to get permission to use it?
Thanks for your help,
Rick
Hi Jonathan,
I am testing this on my blog at https://interculturalzone.lokahi-interactive.com.
I installed the plug in, made sure the call wp_footer was present, and nothing happens when I click on the image.
Relatedly, it seems installing the plug in is slowing down the site, at least when I am working on the back office. Coincidence?
Thanks for your help!

When creating the note, the plug in returns the error of HTTP Error:200. I’ve searched through lots of information about the plug in and Evernote in general and can’t find any information. It does work fine when I use it on one of the example sites, which rules out my browser. I’m stumped.
