Like so many WordPress plugins, it looks as though the author had abandoned this one. No responses for support in over a year and no longer works in current wordpress version. Don’t waste your time – look for another solution.

I have a .xlsx file with 45 thousand row data, it is not showing any output after uploading. Nothing… It is not even able to upload a file of 4 MB data.
Sorry but, totally failed on my system…

He, I tried it on my small 5 columns table (near only with numbers). This table doesn’t fit to page and looked distinctly differently.
There is nothing to set in plugin.

I have state weightlifting records in Excel, that I need to post to word press. These files are huge and need to be updated frequently. I tried three database plugins, like “Participant Database” which worked, but I wasn’t able to update specific weight classes. At least I can now, update the Excel file and reload into the CMS plugin!

Simply working

Thenk you, works great!

I give it 4 stars since it is simple to use a and works great but more features would make it 5 stars.
– Only works with simple Excel sheet, not if you have several sheets on one workbook.
– Easy to make conditional formatting if you edit the file:
/wp-content/plugins/wp-excel-cms/public/templates/default.php
This uses a simple foreach loop that was easy to change for my special needs. E.g. I needed the first cell to be a link based on conditionals.

I would like to rate it better, but unfortunately I got the following error, once I insert the shortcode into the page:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/wp-content/plugins/wp-excel-cms/public/templates/default.php on line 7
