Hi There! I am seeing this error “Error: Expected an order id to be passed” after clicking on button Pay Instantly with Paypal >> Pop apears >> Paypal (this is where is this error).
]]>Please confirm the plugin has been tested with WordPress 6.6.1 and is compatible.
Thanks in advance.

]]>Hi, we recently had to reconnect our WP Express Payments to PayPal because of a PayPal API update (i think). Anyway, now we are getting two errors. When you click the PayPal button this error pops up:
Error occurred during PayPal checkout process
{}
When you click Venmo and Credit Card first you get:
Could not initiate PayPal checkout…
{}
Then you get the first error. I’ve been through the settings and can’t figure out what could be causing this.I appreciate any help you can give.
]]>There are quite a few alternative funding methods offered by PayPal in various countries. In the interface of WPEC you can for example disable Venmo (US and $ only). I would like to request the ability to disable using iDEAL (NL only) for example, as the PP implementation of that is not so user-friendly and has refunding limitations (180 days).
Here is the list of alternative payment methods:
https://developer.paypal.com/sdk/js/configuration/#link-disablefunding
So my question is in short: do you have any plans to add these country specific alternative payments options to the enable/disable in the settings?
Thanks for the awesome plugin, very well thought out and easy to use!
]]>Hi,
After a suggestion from the team to check out this plugin instead of Easy Accept Payments via PayPal I have been playing around with it and am impressed so far. But I have a two-language website to put it on, and I noticed there is no wpml-config.xml file added. Do you have any plans to add this to make the interface (front-end) translatable? Thanks in advance,
Rob

Using Notepad++ to search for but coming up empty.
Thanks guys, y’all rock!
]]>After upgrading to version 2.3.9 I’m receiving the following error upon clicking the Pay button: “Could not initiate PayPal Checkout…Error! Empty WPEC plugin data received from the create-order AJAX call. Expected an order ID to be passed.”
Rolled back to version 2.3.7 and everything is fine.
One observation: If I created new products in 2.3.9 they would work, but products created in earlier versions would not.
]]>Not sure when this happened. A Fairly new install. Added a couple of new test products few days ago. Updated to the latest 2.3.9 this morning and just attempted to add new product:

I have disabled most all plugins no change. I have disabled my WordFence plugin / firewall, no change. I have changed to the default 2024 theme, no change. Disabled CloudFlare, no change. Cleaned site cache (litespeed plugin), no change. No errors in dev console.
I am at a loss, Any ideas?

]]>Greetings friends.
After the wponce (Nonce) expires, users can still access the page like:
https://example.com/thank-you-transaction-result/?order_id=78&_wpnonce=cad3bf9999
Not that it is bad or breaks anything, it is just unsightly and looks unprofessional / sloppy. The user sees messages like “Error! Nonce value is missing in the URL or Nonce verification failed.” and “do not access this page directly”.
The ideal situation would be modification to the plugin to prevent this behavior, but I understand you guys are very busy.
I have searched plugin code trying to find some type of filter / hook / function so I could handle in themes function, but unsuccessful. In a Woo environment, I would use something like:
add_action('template_redirect', 'custom_nonce_check');
function custom_nonce_check() {
$notices = wc_get_notices();
foreach ($notices['error'] as $notice) {
if ($notice === "Error! Nonce value is missing in the URL or Nonce verification failed.") {
wp_redirect("https://discountplr.com/link-expired/");
exit();
}
}
}
Could you please ask the dev if there is something like wc_get_notices() in WP Express Checkout?
]]>I am trying to set this up on my website to provide Paypal payments on courses. I need to set it up to have 3 payment options deposit, balance less deposit and full price. I have got the basic elements set up but can’t work out how to get the different options for payment on a single ‘product’ or to get a payment button on the page where the customer would book the course to lead to the payment area. ]]>Hi, is it possible to prevent the requirement of postal address requests when the product is delivered by download e.g. ebook (PDF, EPUB files etc)??
]]>Looking at the documentation it seems it is only possible to add a set global sales tax or a set sales tax on a product. In the US tax is collected on shipping location and depending on your stores point of presence. Tax percentages are added together
Is is possible to setup sales tax for these requirements in the plugin, or is it possible to have PayPal calculate and return the sales tax?
]]>Hello, I love this product, I really think it is what I was needing.
But… would there be any possibility of making a shopping cart? I mean… a cart where you can add products and then go pay for them all at once??
If that could be done, it would be fantastic!!
I do not put the web address since I am testing it on a test site.
I really love the coupons, the emails that even in testing mode, I receive in my email. I love it!!
Of course, I miss the cart to accumulate products and pay for them all at once
Greetings and thank you!
I’ve created a number of products where the buyer can select to buy multiple products using the “Allow customers to specify quantity” checkbox.
The pop up which is displayed for checkout allows the buyer to increase or decrease the quantity by using buttons to the left and right of the quantity but no icon is displayed to indicate that this is functional.
Should a – / + icon be displayed in the highlighted part of the screenshot below?
]]>Hello,
Is there any way to automatically create WP user (subscriber) after payment?
Thanks!
Having the ability to display in the “Shop” or not would be very helpful. Sometimes one does not want certain products from showing on the “Shop” page.
Maybe a checkbox in the product area allowing to remove from shop listing?
Feature request, please pass to developers so they can add to list ??
]]>Trying to use this plugin with the license manger and offer a 100% off coupon. It is not working out.
When checking out there is no collection of user info like email / name, etc. and the license manager sets the license key to pending. Since no collection of email, this is not working?
Any insight into issue would be greatly appreciated. Reading through docs hasn’t gotten me any further in understanding issue.

]]>Installed, PayPal keys added, etc. Created a test product page. The “Buy Now” button appears on that page. Clicking the button results in the pop-up box for the product, includes image/description/price, but no Buy button. No way to get to the PayPal checkup page.

I’m new to using WP Express. First of all, can I change “Pay” in the button produced by the shortcode?

Hi! It seems that Paypal payments received through this plugin do not register the customer home address as stated in their Paypal account. Instead of the address I see “We have no postal address on file” when I check the Paypal transaction. Why is that? I need the addresses for billing purposes.
]]>The Paypal button is showing up always in English. I understand it should change depending on the browser language.
