Thanks for this plugin! Looks good, but I was wondering if there is a way to change the text in the Read more button. Since the site is in dutch and all other ‘read more’ buttons on the site have ‘lees verder’ as text.

Also: is it possible to show a larger featured image? (not in the background like design-4, but above like design-1, only larger / wider)

This shortcode works in the post,page [featured-content-slider cat_id=”278″ slides_scroll=”2″ slides_column=”3″]

but it does not work in WordPress custom page templates.
The column not sliding properly how can I fix this issue

In WP Featured Content and Slider plugin I have displayed 4 slide images in desktop view so it displayed a single image in mobile view.

So I need 3 slide images on mobile view

WP Featured Content and Slider won’t let me skip the sharing of “non-sensitive data” to?essentialplugin.com. It says it’s okay to skip, but when you press the Skip button, nothing happens. I can’t try out the plugin, because it won’t let me past this point. Please advise.

I wanted to report an error and ask you a question.

Error:
1. You make users confused by putting wrong symbols on the description area of the plugin here in WordPress website. None of the shortcodes work his way. For instance: [featured-content-slider slides_column=”2″]. The number 2 should be like “2” and not ”2″. The latter won’t work when I test.

2. Is there a lay-out to put text to left or right of the featured image?

I used the shortcode of the slide in elementor and it gives me the following error when I simulate a mobile.

Ignored attempt to cancel a touchmove event with cancelable = false, for example because scrolling is in progress and cannot be interrupted.

It only happens when you hover over the slide and try to lower the screen.

first of all, congrats for the amazing plugin. I have a situation and i can’t solve it, i need some orientation.

I want to use your plugin to display some features, but i don’t want them to be clickable, i really just want to display the featured image and the text.

Is there anyway that i can remove the links or made them not clickable? Maybe using css?

We need the possibility to use own HTML-content or further shortcode in the Featured Content (in the “sub-content” area).

But your plugin allow no own HTML-code (e.g.: DIV-Tags, A-Tags, P-Tags, etc.) in the “sub-content” area.
Example:
We create a new Featured Content and paste the little HTML-code:
<div class=”col-box” style=”color:#fff;”>
TestText
</div>

But the only was is appear, is the string “TestText”.

We would very happy if you can help us?

I have 4 columns on desktop mode,I’m trying to add 2 columns for tablets mode but the plugin only changes to 1 column when it goes to like 600px. How do i add 2 columns for tablet screens?

Good morning, I kindly ask you for help with a problem in using your plugin. I proceeded to install it successfully. I create a Content, match it with the created category and put the following short-code on a page [featured-content-slider cat_id = “128”]. By displaying the page the contents appear correctly, but clicking on it to open them shows the following warning:

Oops! That page can not be found.
It looks like nothing at this location. Maybe try a search?

I don’t want to titles over each content when it’s displayed.

Also I am using design=1 but the is a lot of space at the top area, how can I fix that?

I installed the plugin and started playing around with it and am not able to accomplish my goal. I have three pages (not posts) that I want to be shown in a slider. In addition, I have menu items that point to these individual pages and I’d like clicking on the menu items to open up the slider, starting with the page that was clicked on. e.g., Let’s say I have three pages: Earth, Wind and Fire. I also have three menu items that point to those pages. I want to be able to click on the Wind menu item and have it open the slider, set to that Wind page, rather than Earth, which is the first page.

I’ve tried a lot of combinations of post_type, taxonomy (I created a custom taxonomy for this usage) and I’m not able to accomplish this.

Thoughts?

I am using design 1 and wanted to make the images larger than 100×100.

I edited the design template file to make it 300×300 (see below) which worked but now I can’t update the plugin in the future without fixing it every time.

I have a custom post type that I am using the Featured Content Slider for on my homepage. Everything is working, except the latest posts are showing up first, but last. I have tried to add order=”DESC” to the shortcode, but that doesn’t work. Any help would be appreciated!

I have used the shortcode [featured-cnt-img design=”design-10″ grid=”4″ limit=”16″ order=”ASC” cat_id=”33″]. The default “Read More” button colour is white and black when hovered. How can I change the “Read More” button colour to Green and White when hovered? Many thanks!

Love the plugin! I was able to add some custom CSS to make it exactly the way I wanted. However, I cannot stop scrolling on the page now… there’s infinite white space beneath the footer.

When I deactivate the plugin, the white space goes away. So it’s definitely related to this plugin. Let me know if this is fixable? Thanks!
