Can File Permissions & Size Check be updated to work with the latest version of wordpress.

runned the wp-file-permissions-check

get back the following errors:

Error: SplFileInfo::getPerms() [splfileinfo.getperms]: open_basedir restriction in effect.
File(/home/vhost/WWW/literaturen.org/..) is not within the allowed path(s):
(/home/vhost/WWW/literaturen.org/:/usr/local/httpd/icons/:/usr/local/httpd/phptmp/)

how to treat this finding – what does this tell us°!?

I’m running WP 3.5.1 and the plugin version is 1.0.1.

1 = The plugin creates a folder called “wp-file-permission-check”. However the ‘wp_register’ code on lines 33 and 34 refer to “file-permission-check”.

2 = The file permissions displayed for files in the wp-admin folder (I haven’t tested wp-content and wp-includes”) are incorrect. This is because the $fileinfo variable which declared for the “root” folder is inadvertently re-used in the wp-admin folder BUT is not reset beforehand.

The objectives for this plugin seemed worthwhile but it simply does NOT work as advertised. I suggest that you don’t use this plugin until it has had a major revision.

My theme detected a JavaScript error ( https://www.pagelines.com/forum/discussion/6489 ) when this plugin was activated. I verified the error reporting was gone with this inactive and present again when re-activated. Just FYI.
