Hi there.
Thanks for the great plugin.
I noticed a wrong country name in /lib/classes/countrycodes.php:146
The correct country name is “North Macedonia” instead of “Macedonia”.
Please, do the change.

]]>Hi there!
This plugins works great except for one little thing. It’s not showing accurate miles after it gets beyond 60 miles or so. Here’s a screenie so you can see:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/75728851/ds_miles.gif
I have it set to unlimited miles in the admin settings. Seems like it should show the real mileage from the zip code I entered in the search. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks! ??

i have version 0.3.1 of the latest plugin
when searching on my website for example Birmingham theoretical it should show Birmingham venue but for some reason it list all venues in alphabetical order but if you put Birmingham postcode in it works fine.
if you type Newcastle in or the postcode it works fine with no bugs

Thanks
]]>Hi there, this plugin works perfectly for my requirements but I am hoping it is possible to have the html code for the search so that I can insert it into a page rather than as a widget.
I only want the search to be visible on one page rather than across all pages as with the widget.
]]>i was wanting to know if there is any type of bulk upload facility for this plugin? It seems great but would take me months to enter all the data I would have.
]]>I am busying with a website for a client and I found the Find Your Nearest Plugin which is perfect for what my client requires. I set it up on the website and it was working perfectly. Then my client decided to transfer the website across to https. Since doing that, the plugin does not work. I have deleted it and re-installed it but still no go.
When I try to update the longitude and latitude on the postcode, it does not work anymore. I tested the plugin on another test sever (http) and it works fine. If I do a search, it just hangs and won’t bring up the postcode results.
I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction on how to get it working on https? My client is really hopeful we can use the plugin.
I can’t provide a link to the website as it is still being developed.
Thank you
]]>Hi,
Thanks for taking on the management of this plugin – I find it really simple and useful.
I noticed that setting the maximum number of results is not working as it should. Sometimes it will just display the correct number, and other times it will have way more than was specified in the settings.
Are you aware of this issue?
Fee free to email me for a link to the site.
Thanks for your help.
]]>Hi Developer,
Thanks for this amazing plugin! It is quite similar to what I have been looking for! However, since I want to be displaying a large number of baby activities going on in the area, I was wondering if the search results can go to different pages or tabs in a page? Can this be based on the regional categories? Like if certain events belong to ‘Monday’ category, then in the search results tabbed page, can it go to Monday tab? I have data of at least 40 baby activities in Manchester for a particular day and I am trying to display it the best way for the user. Something similar to this page: https://bit.ly/1ODxgTB
Thanks a lot for reading and I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi I just updated to the latest version but upon update, I got a “Server error”. I deactivated the plugin and the site worked again so decided to roll back to the previous version.
Thanks
]]>Hi there. I am using Premium but since updating to it and trying to use the Tag options I have LOST display capability amongst other things.
I see the link on this support page saying Download version 0.205 but don’t know if that will work with Premium or if I should download something different ?
Please see https://www.podroof.com/au/about/ and try the search for say postcode 6000.
The first result is “True Blue Containers” but no other contact information appears. It used to display whatever I put in the entry including Logos but since the change to Premium it’s all lost and only shows about one line or sometimes a bit more of the content.
There is lots more lines of info including a logo in the entry for True Blue containers. And FYN Used to show logos and all content.
When a user clicks the heading of the result of a search they get
“Sorry, but the page you were trying to view does not exist.”
Not happy !

Adam,
We have sent like 4 emails now but still we haven’t got your response since. You told us why the Map isn’t showing up is because we got the “Beta” version and not the full version of the plugin. Can you give the link to the full version of the plugin, please! We have tons of clients that are waiting for us to fix this. Looking forward to your response!

Hi Adam,
We just bought the premium version of the WP Find Your Nearest. I thought purchasing the premium version of the plugin will help solve the issue we’re having with the Map not showing up. But we still have that problem with the premium version of the plugin. After searching through the form, I’m redirected to the page with “Circle, round loading” icon. I’ve waited but it’s not displaying the map.
Here’s the search form url

I hope you can help me with this. God bless!
]]>Can the premium version do import and export from csv for place and address? Thanks
]]>Is it possible to limit the results within a certain radius?
So if someone enters a postal code, all the results within a range or radius of 30km will be displayed.
Our locations (in Belgium) are pretty dense, so all the results are shown every time (even 615km away from each other).
]]>Hi how do i get the plugin to work?
Current the spinner keeps spinning and nothing happens.
I have added my API key and enabled google maps.

HI
I have following question (how to achieve my requirement )
I have one directory site ( doctor’s directory)
I used custom Post type for doctors profile, this profile contains a field for zip code(mean each doctor is having address, zip code)
and I have a search form where user will enter his city zip code/pin and will enter with in how many miles to search the doctor
so user input will be zip code and search with in miles
when user will click on submit button plugin will search doctors with in user input miles
Thanks
]]>A question to the developer: I am planning to purchase the premium version, but before that I like to know if this plugin is still supported?
]]>Hi,
I’m not very techy so please keep it simple.
I’m looking for a search plugin that would provide me with the facility to do what they do on site’s like hungry house and Just Eat where the customer can stick in their postcode and the site comes up with all the partner vendors in the area that can serve them (as opposed to coming up with a list outside of the site):
list of vendors
https://hungryhouse.co.uk/takeaways/west-norwood-tulse-hill-se27
Can your plugin do this?
Thanks loads,

]]>HI,
I have the premium version of WP find Your Nearest and have currently got over 1000 postcodes stored on it. I have this error:
Warning: deg2rad() expects parameter 1 to be double, string given in /home/content/p3nexnas05_data03/07/2115107/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-find-your-nearest-premium/includes/getFYNSearchResults.php on line 60
Im quite certain that this means I have not updated the longitude and latitude, however is there a way of finding out which one I have missed without having to trawl through all 1000+ entries.

]]>Hi, is it possible to have two search fields (for two different locations) on one page. I am looking to show two different shop locations.
Thanks
]]>We currently use the MapPress plugin to geo-code locations that are part of a custom post type. Users fill out a front-end form and the locations they specify are geo-coded and the geo-coded locations then added to a custom field in the database.
Though MapPress is great at locating addresses with google and displaying maps on our posts, it does not currently offer a way to search by location. Does your plugin offer the ability to tie into our existing setup to enable a search by location?
Thinking we could simply tell the locations plugin to look at the existing locations already stored in our database instead of having to copy or re-import the locations into the Find Your Nearest plugin. Any idea if/how this would work?
thanks!
]]>Hi, I have bought the premium version and works perfectly, great plugin.
I was wondering if it was possible to display the map with ALL the pins on a page? Do you have a shortcode for this?
Then people could see all the results without needing to search, but could still search using the sidebar widget if they want to narrow the results.
Many Thanks.
]]>Hi instead of having a plugin in my widgetised area I would like to dispaly the search form on a page. Does anyone know the shortcode for that?
Also we have different product lines for different types of shops so how do i make it easy for the customer to say they are only interested in stockists near them that stock this product line?
]]>Hi,
I would like to know how you remove the FYN posts from the standard wordpress search.
My FYN posts are duplicates of my main posts so when I search my site for a listing I get back both the FYN and the standard wordpress post. I would like to have it so that the FYN post is not discoverable by the normal wordpress search and only when using the FYN postcode search.
thanks
]]>Hi,
Firstly this a great plugin!
Would it be possible to show the distance in time aswell as miles?
For instance if a customer was to enter their postcode the result would come up with “Distance 20 miles, 30 minute Drive”?
