Hi there, would like to ask if this plugin is compatible with wp edit, the replacement for tinyMCE.
Installed fontface and works fine in desktop browsers but does not work on iPhone or iPad. Is there additional css I need to invoke the font on smartphones and tablets?
See demo site https://tasvistas.com.au/home
Thanks,
Louise
I just installed the WP font-face plugin. I followed the given steps.
Upload font-face plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
Generate @font-face packs on fontsquirel
Upload generated packages to plugin ‘/font/’ folder
I also have TinyMCE Advance installed
but, although i have everything thicked, I can’t see my font in the TinyMCE.
The Upload is correct because if I write down <span style=”font-family: Myfont;”>…. the font appears, but the option in the TinyMCE Ad. doesn’t.
Thanks for your help ^_^
How can I make my font as menufont ?
I have all installed and even put the css code in my theme, but I can’t overwrite the themes googlefonts ??
thanks
…and I can’t figure out what makes the difference. For instance, the font FF Tusj works, and Roboto Regluar doesn’t. The name “FF Tusj” shows up in the format list in its font, and Roboto Regluar displays in the default font.
I changed the name of the Roboto folder to the name shown in the stylesheet, and other names like “Roboto” and “Roboto-Regular-500”, but it still doesn’t work, even though it shows up in the text window of the editor in the right form:

Roboto

I don’t know if I could have done anything, but in my Safari 7.0.1 on Mac 10.9.1, the font doesn’t show up. It shows up fine in Firefox, but I haven’t tried other browsers. The font is selected to be in the left sidebar.
The development site address needs to be copied and pasted:
207.210.108.146/~wageleco/
I need to deactivate WP font face and go with anther font plugin. When I do will it automatically remove any CSS changes made? Do I have to manually change anything to get back to square one? I installed this a while back and do not remember what I did to set it up so am not sure how to undo it.
Thanks
Sue
I have the style in TinyMce – it shows in the editor as

but I really don’t want the new font in the body, I’d like to see it in the sidebar. I tried just putting MyFont in the custom css style sheet
I didn’t put anything into the “Additional CSS” area in the settings for this plugin as I didn’t know what to put there. Do I need to declare the full url of the font? If so, what should it look like? Then will I be able to use it as a regular font-family in css?
I appreciate any help you give with this.
Strange and annoying problem: when clicking on text, it vanishes and reappears after unselecting.
Try at https://www.rosannephilippens.com/
I used the WP Fontface plugin in the Responsive Pro them.
What causes this problem??
Thanks in advance!

Hi there
I′m having a weird problem. I developed a site for a client and used your plugin. Everything worked fine on the development server, but now they are migrating it to the live server and the font′s don′t show on firefox and ie. There is no problem with Chrome though, the font′s are ok there. I′m not sure if this is a problem with your plugin or just a server problem. Have you seen this problem before? Any ideas?
Thank you very much
Hello,
I officially bought/licensed a font through Linotype.com for web usage. For this purpose I was able to download a font package (fonts folder) with a few files, among others files with the font formats EOT, SVG, TTF and WOFF. I also have in this folder a demo.htm (HTML example file), a demo.css (CSS example file) and a few other files.
I’ve installed your WP font-face plugin, and wanted to create a font-face package using Font Squirrel. After uploading the TTF-file the Font Squirrel webfont-generator reported: “The file XYZ.ttf is blacklisted by the Generator. Webfonts from other distributors cannot be regenerated.”
– What to do now?
– Is the Webfont Generator by fontsquirrel.com essential for using your WP plugin?
– Isn’t it possible to generate the font package for your plugin by hand in a way?
TIA.
Just a heads up that the website changed. The new address is https://www.opicron.eu/wp/.

Hi
I’m a total newbie, so sorry if it’s bothering to explain in such simple terms. But after reading and watching a series of walkthroughs on doing a custom font in wordpress, I’m still stuck and confused.
I’ve installed the WP Font-face plugin, created a font package using font-squirrel and uploaded the package to the Font-face ‘fonts’ folder (just beneath the standard ‘daniel’ font package.
Now in the next step, everyone tells me to edit the style.css file by inserting the stylesheet.css text. But the Weaver theme tells me to insert whatever css code in their
section in the Weaver Admin panel – which should override any standard css code in the theme. I’ve tried that too. I even changed the urls of the font files to their direct urls. Like this:
@font-face {
font-family: 'helveticamazing';
src: url('ftp://[email protected]/wordpress/wp-content/themes/weaver/helveticamazing-webfont.eot');
src: url('ftp://[email protected]/wordpress/wp-content/themes/weaver/helveticamazing-webfont.eot?#iefix') format('embedded-opentype'),
url('ftp://[email protected]/wordpress/wp-content/themes/weaver/helveticamazing-webfont.woff') format('woff'),
url('ftp://[email protected]/wordpress/wp-content/themes/weaver/helveticamazing-webfont.ttf') format('truetype'),
url('ftp://[email protected]/wordpress/wp-content/themes/weaver/helveticamazing-webfont.svg#helveticamazing') format('svg');
font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;
}
Now I want to tell Weaver to change the font of my heading (h1) to the ‘helveticamazing’ font that I have uploaded. How do I do that?
It seems everything up to this point is very thoroughly described at every forum, but they all seem to take it for granted that I know how to implement the code to actually pick what text should have it’s font changed.
Any help would be very much appreciated. ??

I’ve tried adding different css to the ‘additional css’ space; The given example css in the screenshots and others I’ve found on different forums. Still no luck.
When I create a page, there is no extra dropdown menu next to my style dropdown menu.
Could someone please explain to me what would be the next step in making this plugin work? Thanks a lot!
This is a total newbie question… but step 4 of the directions is:
4. Upload generated packages to plugin ‘/font/’ folder
How do I do this? Is it something that needs to be done on Filezilla or can I do it through the WordPress dashboard?
