We strongly recommend this plugin over the more popular ones as this is the only plugin that we found that is lightweight and AMP compatible. Configuring capability from within the customiser is an added bonus.
We had to introduce a few CSS changes to avoid covering the entire screen.

This is definitely fantastic and simple plugin. This is also the only one working with AMP! I have tried nearly every Coocie plugin and they are not AMP compitable at all.

This was exactly what I needed I just wish I tried it first before going through a few including paid for plugins. It is EASY to setup, it works on AMP and that is a huge plus!. The only recommendation I would have is to have separate settings for desktop vs mobile as the “Modal Overlay” fills mobile with a white screen so makes it a big less attractive. But other than that great plugin a hue thank you to the developer!

The plugin is actually not that bad.
But there are a few problems and nothing has changed in the beta status for a long time.
But what is not nice is that there are no answers to support requests.
Therefore I cannot recommend the plugin.

The plugin looked nice on my website until I tried to log in again on the admin board a few hours later and got this message “You have to accept the cookie notice in order to be able to log in.” on the login page and nothing was there to accept the cookie notice in order to be able to log in again! And even if there was a link to accept the notice, I shouldn’t have to accept a notice in order to connect on my own website, that kind of notice is only for people visiting, not for an admin, this is ridiculous. I had to delete the plugin via FTP to be able to get access to my website.

Hello Felix,
This plugin WAS working perfectly for me on two of our websites. This morning, I updated from version 1.0.0-beta.2 to version 1.0.0-beta.3 and since then, EVEN IF THE USER HAS ACCEPTED THE COOKIE NOTICE, it won’t let them log in to the website, saying “You have to accept the cookie notice in order to be able to log in”.
I have not updated the plugin on the second website (leaving it at beta2 version). On the website that has been updated, I have had to deactivate the plugin.
Could you please send me the beta2 zip file, so that I can roll it back to beta 2, or failing that, let me know when this problem is fixed in a new update?
If you can do this, then I will happily up my review to 5 stars again.

I got a bit unease as this plugin has not many reviews or users. The warning about it not being tested with my WordPress version also raised an eyebrow.
It was an excellent positive surprise!
Easy to install, configure and use. Worked flawlessly.
I did not need to change anything from the original configuration.
