This feature should have been a part of the core for a long time now. Until it is, this plugin is absolutely essential.

Just wanted to post that this 2-factor plugin is still working on the latest WP core.

Just for people to know there is an option to loggin with a rescue code, in case the authentificator is not available (stolen phone or whatever), although it’s not visible on the screenshots !
Perfect plugin.
Merci.

I logged in using a random 6-digit code and got in immediately. I logged out, tried again with a random number and got in again. Did it three times with three random numbers and had no issue in.
EDIT: I uninstalled and installed the latest version. Works now. Thank you.

Does everything it needs to and does it well. Ability to force users and pre name code are essential features.

Not sure about the purpose of the desync timer, can’t find contextual help but I admit not trying really all that hard. lol Link might help.
Thanks for the software, great tool.

Installed, activated, enabled the 2-step authentication, generated QR code, scanned. All set! Brilliant work. Thank you!

Installed it and it works well. I also have iThemes Security installed (and a WooCommerce shop) – no problem. Thanks for the plugin.

Refuses to accept the generated code, and locks the accounts.
With the error “The one time password you used has already been revoked.”
The Google authenticator App and the server are within 1 second of each other so time difference is not an issue.
Even tried setting the Authorized Clock Desynchronization to 1000, still get the same error.

Installing and activating in 5 Minutes! You can activate it per user which is very good. Double your security at a glance!

Using with iThemes Security 4.0.10 the google authenticator form is not showing in login page when hide backend is enabled.
EDIT: I changed my rate, the problem is not the plugin, is on iThemes Security, sorry for that!
I forgot to come back here and change the rate.

Installed without issues so far, just what I was looking for to add an extra layer of security to my WordPress installs.
I’ll leave this running for a while before rolling it out to all my sites, all being well it will be a default plugin for any client sites I produce.
