I’ve installed the plugin on 2 websites, creating some interactive maps with listings. First I had problems with the maps working correctly, but after I contacted support, they helped me and fixed the problem. Some caching plugin interfered with WP Maps. Now everything is working perfectly.

WP Maps is a wonderful plugin with an even more wonderful support team. I took over a website from another developer who had a subpar solution for the functionalities that this plugin fixed. However, due to the weird setup of the former developer’s solution, this plugin was not functioning properly (not their fault). The support person at WP Maps (Ashok Singh) was absolutely amazing. He/she hunted down multiple issues that were not the fault of the plugin and helped me fix them before the website had to be pushed live. I was on a very tight timeline, and WP Maps made it happen with the perfect solution and an incredible support team. I cannot recommend WP Maps more highly. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Finding a good Google Maps plugin can be very time consuming. This one almost ticked all the boxes: multiple markers, custom styling of the map (using Snazzy which is nice), markers that can be set to redirect rather than to only open an infowindow.
Almost perfect. What I missed:
1. redirect on click marker to NOT open in a new window or at least have the choice
2. batch import of locations from CSV
Especially the first is the reason I will probably have to use a different solution.

Great feature set, easy setup, and a responsive developer.
What’s not to like?
This is my current go-to map plugin for small business client websites. Clients are impressed seeing their logo in the info box on their website’s google map.

Worked well when activated. But as I was only experimenting with a map feature, I deactivated the plugin, and then I got debug errors over every page, including the admin pages! 3 months later, no resolution. Even uninstalling it totally leaves the site broken – beware. I have to leave the unused plugin installed and active – or broken website!

This plugin’s stylesheet adds a rule (with !important!!!), that removes all focus outlines from any a (link) element on your site. This is very important for keyboard users, and is required for WCAG 2.0 compliance.
A website (in the US) that is not at least WCAG 2.0 level-AA compliant, that is some sort of public accommodation or government website, is open to a lawsuit or fine.
In addition, any sort of !important style in any plugin, is really bad practice, and is not ok, especially when they try and up-sell you to premium.
