Firstly, I’m wondering if this developer is still here?? There hasn’t been much happening for a while.
My issue:
I have LOVED this plugin for a few years and will continue to donate occasionally, and I’m not using it on a multisite installation for the first time.
I’ve discovered the Sync Source and Sync Pull facility which sounds amazing in theory, but I’ve sadly discovered that it isn’t functioning consistently.
I’ve embedded a video URL in a help document and on other sites, this video link isn’t displayed. On others, it is ??
If I go to settings on those sites and do a manual Save, the syncing doesn’t update. I’ve also added additional help documents, and they also don’t sync on manual save.
I’d love any insight the developer might be able to share please. Is there some fault finding info I can assist with?

I’ve been having an issue recently with the Leave Site button. This has been going on for a few months and when I did a bit of searching, it looks like it’s a bug others have had – but I don’t see a fix.
When I make a change in a page and then click Update – I get the note in the lower left corner that says the page has been updated. Then I click “View Page” and get the message “Leave Site? Changes you made may not be saved.” When I click leave, the changes have been made – so it’s just the error message that’s a bit of an annoyance.

Hi! I have updated to 6.3 on a few webistes today, and all help topics added with WP Help are gone after upgrading. I tried to export and import help topics to a site with 6.2.2 and all articles are still in the database and show up in earlier versions, just not visible in the controlpanel after upgrading to 6.3. Hoping for a fix soon ??
]]>i am currently in the process of setting up my website to sell online courses.
The default WooCommerce shop page does not give me an option to edit the content, tabs and layout. There is no padding on the page and it just doesn’t look very professional at the moment.
Currently i have WP Bakery editor on my website but it does not seem to work on woocommerce pages. Is there a way i can fix this? I would like to customise the page to make it more attractive as i will be offering multiple courses in multiple languages.
any advice is welcome.
just further info: I’m using Learndash plugin for the course, WooCoommerce as the ecommerce platform, not sure what the theme is (maybe BigBlank…?), WP Bakery for page builder and will be using WPML for multilanguage (courses will be available in English, Portuguese and Spanish).

]]>I’m having some trouble getting this plugin to work with a custom role. I’m creating a role that can only manage Gravity Form entries, so they can’t edit pages or posts. But I’d also like that user to see the help documents.
Is there a custom capability to which I can grant access so a user can view help docs? When I activate Read Private for the Help Documents CPT, it still won’t work. I suspect the plugin might be looking for an capability…

The Gutenberg blocks on my homepage used to stack in pairs of 2 on a mobile, they are 4 on a desktop. All of a sudden they are now stacking 1 block above another and it looks really silly. I’ve tried to figure this out but I’m defeated.
Please could you give me some help in trying to get it back to stacking in pairs?
Please note I am not good with code or editing files but I know how to put CSS in the customiser lol.
I’m using WordPress with the astra theme.

I recently had my site updated, and one of the plugins the developer used to show my social icons and table of contents was causing an error on my site. After he removed the plug-in, the social icons didn’t appear, but two days ago, they showed up on my post.
Is there any way to mass remove them without going into each post?

]]>HI, we have the problem that some help posts are not completely synchronised. I.e. in the source website they are complete, but in all WP installations that sync with the source, some data is missing. What could be the reason for that?

]]>New pages should not be sorted alphabetically, I think: If one creates help pages, it has nothing to do with the alphabet.
So please order them by creation time. Or give an option for this in the settings and set creation time as default, I suggest.

]]>I noticed it is possible and very useful to be able to structure the help topics.
e.g.
1. WordPress Admin
1.1 Update Plugins
1.2 User Permissions
2. Maintain Content
2.1 Edit posts
2.2 Edit with Elementor
It would be incredibly of help to show all the child pages automatically (and link to them) in the parent page.
For instance, “WordPress Admin” is the parent page which is empty and does not contain any information. It only shows the links to the child pages “Update Plugins” and “User Permissions”
Now this must be done manually, and as linking does not work well between help article posts it’s quite cumbersome and unreliable.
So I hope for an opportunity to just list all child pages of a help article.

as already mentioned here https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/linking-from-one-help-page-to-another-doesnt-work/ it would be really great to have the opportunity to easily link to other help articles right away from the editor.
I noticed I can open another help article in the backend and just copy & paste this link to a new help article, however, I am not sure if that is a reliable way of linking between help articles.
I would prefer and suggest to make it possible to just link to them directly, like how it works for pages and posts.

I have set all the sections on the store page to full width. The page was initially displaying sections in full width but later now it is displaying boxed sections. I tried by making new pages but after some time the sections are again displayed in box width

I’m pulling my hair out and am feeling super stupid because i can’t get this to work.
I am trying to build a Client database for a non-for-profit. They want search functionality to pull inputted clients data.
So i have a basic search page on FirstName and LastName. On submit I call the functions.php where I have a wpdb call to a stored procedure. It returns an array with the correct results. I have no idea how to get these results back to my wordpress page. I’ve simplified it just to return Middle Name for now.

]]>I recently moved from wordpress.com to self hosted. Since the migration I’ve had numerous problems with my site. From the site breaking completely, to login issues and seeing a very limited menu view in WP-Admin. After ALOT of troubleshooting I’ve discovered that it is the Jet Pack plugin which has been causing all the problems. Having now deactivated the plugin my site and WP-admin is working as expected. I don’t mind not using Jetpack, the only annoying thing is that I now can’t get a quick glance of my stats via the WordPress app on my phone. Stats are not tracked when Jet Pack is deactivated. I’ve downloaded the Monster Insights plugin but I still can’t figure out an easy way to see stats on my phone without having to login to WordPress on a browser.
Any ideas?
]]>Sir, our site is multilingual as are our help files. Your plugin is perfect for us except that it is rendered unusable by the lack of ability to select the language of the page. We use PolyLang so all we need is to be able to specify the post language. Please help. Your plugin would be so wonderful for us.
